I am not an expert on royal jelly but I have used it. Now I know I really had no idea what I was buying after receiving my order from Stakich. This is the real deal. They even pack it in ice as it needs to stay cool. My other purchases never did this. Also proof is in the pudding. The reason I bought this in the first place was because I had been advised by a well known herbalist in Fes, Morocco to combine it with bee pollen & honey. I had a terrible virus/flu & even when symptoms were almost gone I had a terrible fatigue. Others said this might take weeks to disappear. After using the royal jelly, bee pollen & honey mixture for only 3 days the fatigue was completely gone like it never existed. I will continue taking it twice a day as I am feeling quite well.

I consume 1/4 teaspoon on an empty stomach, nothing added. Sip a little water. Tastes great to me, very slightly bitter.(I wouldn't add honey... that's for bedtime with hot water, lemon and gi ger)

I received it with the cooling bags thawed. Hopefully they weren’t thawed for many hours. I didn’t know that if thawed it’s best not to freeze it. I just put it in the refrigerator not the freezer, though. The taste is the very same than the one I used to have in Spain, which was bought fresh and refrigerated. But then, it came with a small spatula that could take the exact amount and then put it under the tongue to melt . I wish this one came too with a small spatula like that one. It’s a powerful royal jelly and I hope it still contains great part of the benefits since it came with the cooker bags thawed as I mentioned.

Very good product. I like the taste now, but at first you will find it pretty bitter and gross if you simply try to swallow it quickly the first time. You should put a 1/4 tsp amount in your mouth and then move it under your tongue for a minute, and then swallow it. That way you will absorb many nutrients through the blood vessels under your tongue (allowing them to bypass the liver), and it will taste much better once you finally swallow it. It arrived in an insulated package with a cold pack that was still quite cool to the touch. Keep in mind that scientific studies show that royal Jelly can actually remain at 100 degrees F for three weeks before it will no longer cause regular bees to turn into queens. So even if the package arrives at room temperature, it will be fine as long as you refrigerate it right away. The cold pack is just to reduce the amount of degradation that might occur during shipping. Ideally, you still want to keep it as cool as possible during shipping, and then put it in the refrigerator right away.Researcher Masaki Kamakura stored royal jelly at just over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for either one week, two weeks, three weeks, or for 30 days, and then fed it to bees. The bees raised on royal jelly that had been heated for 30 days developed into regular worker bees, suggesting that whatever ingredient of royal jelly turns bees into queens broke down just before those 30 days were up. Knowing how long different compounds in royal jelly lasted, this allowed researchers to identify the protein royalactin as the key ingredient.

Royal jelly is the queen bees food, gives you excellent energy!

I'm not sure what benefits I was supposed to experience. It's pricey for a small amount .I may try again to see if it works.
