How much is this watch worth? I baulked at the price? Thought I could get a top range mobile phone for this price... well that can track steps, and with Garmin maps, you would have navigation too.However, this watch gives you so much more. It's functionality is virtually endless.After a full charge, I connected the watch to Garmin Connect, which was faultless, unlike my Fenix 3, that some months ago decided to drop its Bluetooth connection a dozen times a day. Connection was a breeze, and has filled my Connect app with data even after a few hours.Not keen on the strap, much like the Fenix 3... a little stiff (though it will loosen up), but my Galaxy S3 Frontier strap is a lot more comfortable. Will be upgrading the strap soon.Charger cable is short and a bit fiddly, no cradle to simple drop it into.I downloaded one of my favourite watches I used on my Fenix 3... good to have familiarity :-)Looking forward to utilising this watch over the coming years. I love it!

Mountaineer, runner and triathlete and honestly Best piece of kit I have bought in a long time: battery life beyond my expectations... and the solar does actually slow the loss down; heart rate off the watch sensor is extremely accurate as I compared it to other devices including medical sat monitor; navigation is brilliant - I uploaded the route from Garmin connect in 5seconds and ran a new 10k route in an area with lots of trails and the watch guided me within metres of turns and twists - could not have been better; easily connected to blue tooth phones and not only plays my spotify playlist but gives you voice split times and the navigation warnings etc .... Phone notifications in large script that can read and reply on the hoof ...Well done Garmin - easy to set up and easy to read if sight a bit older .... 10/10 I give this watch

GPS tracking is fantastically accurate even when radio signal dies the routes are tracked. Very comfortable to wear 24/7. App connectivity is superb and partners with similar apps are great.

Great piece of kit, meets ll my expectations and measures all elements that I require.

It does exactly what it says it does, the battery life is very impressive

Good overall but the build quality is underwhelming given the price. Buttons become mushy after a few weeks of typical use, and the strap causes blistering after extended wear.
