I bought this paper specifically for making copies of coloring pages for use with my Pentel brand gel pens - their Krazy line, Sparkle line, Matte line, and Hybrid Metallic lines. Normal coloring books are fine, but do have a tendency to bleed through with a few of the gel pens. The surface is quite slick and the pens work well. No ghosting or bleeding. Also, my coloring pencils are buttery smooth over the paper and my fountain pen ink glides over as well and shows true colors as this paper is a nice and clean white not ecru/cream/beige but white so this is a huge plus.Yes, the paper is expensive just for coloring, but I wanted to try new paper. Would I buy this again? Perhaps, IF I cannot find a similar paper that holds ink as well as this does.

I use this exclusively when I am doing art with copic markers. You can really layer the colors and it’s stays very bright without soaking up to much color too fast.

I have been coloring for few years, heard about this paper but never intended to buy it until now and I wished I bought it much earlier than my coloring would’ve been better. The color blended really well and smoother. Just great over all.

This cardstock is great when using alcohol markers for coloring.

Although I still experienced some bleed through with my prismacolor permanent markers, the texture and the blending were very nice!

It was just what I was expecting and relatively quick.

I bought this for my son the artist at his request and he loves it. He likes to sketch and draw with gel markers and really likes this paper for his designs.
