Added this to my new 4x2x2 bioactive setup for my ball python. Many people say BPs don't need UVB, and the ones that do often spend a lot on t5 style tubes.Since I already have a basking lamp as well as LED grow lights for the plants, I went with this CFL style of UVB light to both save money and have a smaller footprint to work with.It's been going strong for a couple months now. Great value for the price! The light is very bright, and she loves it (even though she looks like she doesnt she's just judgmental)! Her light had been out for a few days and none were in stock near by, Amazon had great and fast shipping with careful packaging! I will definitely be buying them again!

Short life and a bit expensive. It other than that no complaints

Works as it's supposed to, good quality and very bright. Lizard has been out and about more than usual, so she seems to be liking it. The last one I had was this same brand, same bulb, and it lasted way longer than it says it does, so value is bang for your buck! Doesn't emit any heat, just so you're aware of that though.

I originally purchased 2 of these bulbs, one to use and one on hand for when first one goes out. I put the first bulb in and it only lasted a few hours. So I put the second bulb in and then requested a replacement bulb for the first one, thinking it was a fluke. The second one was in for a few hours as well and then wouldn't work again. I checked my lighting fixture and the bulbs did not exceed the limits in any way. So I then requested another replacement bulb for this bulb. When the first replacement bulb was delivered, I put it in the fixture and it almost made it through the whole day. I then received the second replacement bulb and put that one in and it lasted me only daylight hours of 3 days. So I went to request a refund of the replacement bulb. I now need to take all 4 bulbs back to the ups store to have them shipped back to Amazon. This was such a waste of my time and money. I have bought these bulbs before and had them last months. I don't know what is going on but I now had to go to the pet store and buy one for triple the price, hoping it will last longer.

I needed a good UVB light for my Ball Python. This light has been perfect and the snake has already been coming out of his hide more. We will see how long it lasts being on 9-10 hours a day.

My bearded dragon loves this light. I could tell he enjoys basking under it so it works greatfor him. Good size light and very bright. Price was good. It looks like quality light to me.
