Illuminate Your World! 💡
The Taikuwu LED Strip Controller is a versatile RF remote control designed for single color LED strips, supporting input voltages from DC 12V to 24V and a maximum output current of 6A. With features like 8 dynamic effects, a 10-level dimmer, and a 256-grade PWM, it offers both creativity and precision in lighting control.

Superb bit of kit!
A great solution if you have a set of LED's that just plug into a transformer with no on off switch.I can now control these from my desk. Supercool!

Works great with 12v LED spot lights
The media could not be loaded. Advertised to work with LED strips but also works great with Dimmable downlights.

Good in-line 12V DC rf dimmer for one-colour LEDs
Good PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) rf remote dimmer for driving LEDs, this Taikuwu does not seem to get hot even when working near the maximum 6A current continuous (12A very short peak). In common with most of the others sharing this generic style it can show a faint flicker on dimmed settings. The white heat-shrink sleeving on this Taikuwu does not seal the dimmer wafer to the thin in/out leads, and the different make I am replacing with this new one became erratic after four years because of humidity from the conservatory penetrating and confusing the dimmer.Accordingly I’ve sealed the whole plug-dimmer-socket assembly in a adhesive heat-shrink sleeve. I should not have to do this, and combined with the faint flicker on dimmer settings this loses it the star.Having the M and F pair of screw-terminal mating 2.1-5.5mm connectors is useful, and these have excellent low contact-resistance to run cool even at 6A, unlike of those on some pre-made tails .The instructions supplied with this are the most basic of all those I’ve bought, and does not mention pairing. As supplied over eight years, most of my nine samples has woken up in ‘candle flicker’ mode, which might make one think it’s broken. With all of them, selecting 100% or Pairing the remote will fix this.Pairing.Over the years the pairing software has varied what works with one may not with another. All use the same ir remote button set, just different button IDs. There are at least two possible dimmer systems allowing one to customise the remote control selection as desired.Type 1 dimmer (basic).Initialise button set as master by pressing the ‘Light’ (green button) link from the Remote in the first three seconds after applying power to the dimmer.Type 2 dimmer.Option A. To use multiple remote controls to control one dimmer, and/or to use one remote control to control multiple dimmers (very useful), please do the following:Simultaneously press the "ON/OFF" and "BRIGHT+" buttons on each remote required to pair with the dimmer within 5 seconds after the dimmer has power..Option B. To return to the original 1 to 1 pairing mode, ie wipe the above option-A choices please do the following:Simultaneously press the "100%" and "25%" buttons on the original remote control that was 1 to 1 paired with its dimmer within 5 seconds after the dimmer has power. (Make a note on the dimmer and remote which is for which when there’s more than one pair!)The dimmer module remembers the last setting, even when the 12V is removed.Button press to Dimmer functions.Red On/Standby button does as expected, when 12V is present.Note! This is another setting also remembered. Eg if it had been switched to standby and then the 12V switched also off, and later only the 12V switched on again one might think the dimmer is broken!Bright + and Bright - buttons allow ten steps of brightness.Speed + and Speed - buttons allow ten steps of ‘dynamic’ speed.Mode + and Mode - buttons allow eight choices of ‘dynamic’ modeLight will leave ‘dynamic’ modes and return to last brightness setting100% will leave ‘dynamic’ modes and set 100%50% will leave ‘dynamic’ modes and set 50%, with some faint flicker25% will leave ‘dynamic’ modes and set 25%, with some faint flickerModes might be somewhat disturbing with a big bright LED array, beware! Most of mine have these ‘dynamic’ modes.1. Candle flicker2. Breathing3. Fading 14. Fading 25. Half stroboflash6. Two-thirds stroboflash7. One-third stroboflash8. FlashThen the speed of all these can be varied from eye watering fast on the strobes to sleepy slow on the fades. Unpleasant. However all I’ve ever wanted them for is to be able to run the LEDs at about 50% brightness for most of the time, with occasional 100%.The remote uses one CR2025 lithium cell.

Works a treat with 12volt strip led lights
I put strips of self adhesive led lights on the skirting boards powered by a 12 volt psu and one of these to allow me to dim them. Works perfectly and allows me to dim the light to the point where we can move around safely at night but not light the whold house like a beacon

Peccato.
