USB C Adapter for MacBook Pro/Air M1 M2 M3 2021 2020 2019 13" 15" 16"

I have a Dell Pro Max 16 laptop that I use as a radiology workstation. There are a lot of inputs for multiple monitors, Cat 6, microphone for speech recognition, gaming mouse, etc. and the laptop doesn't have all those connectors so I was using a variety of connectors to work. They all connected perfectly with this docking station with no changes in the settings. My download speed improved from 350-500 MBS going through the docking station vs the original adaptor I was using. The microphone responds faster through the USB A 3.1 port than through the other connector I was using.

I use this 6‑in‑1 USB‑C adapter daily with my MacBook, and it's been reliably solid so far. It gives me multiple ports in one compact device, which is super practical when I need to connect several accessories at once. The connection stays stable and everything works as it should. The only real downside is that it takes up both USB‑C ports, which can get inconvenient if I also need to charge or plug something else in at the same time. Overall, it's a very useful adapter—I'd recommend it if you don't mind sacrificing both ports for the extra connectivity.

It is good build quality, perfect fit for Mac air m3 version and working as expected. It’s been only few days so time will tell about the reliability.

Update: 11/2025 The ethernet port failed after 5 months of use, the support I received from Solare was outstanding. It took a few emails to verify that it was indeed a failure of the internal circuit. The concern and care of the support staff was superlative. Marina was especially helpful and took care of the issue, professionally and quickly. In this day and age, it is hard to find good support of product, yet this company and staff went above and beyond to make sure that the situation was remedied. And it was. Thanks to the team at Solare. Updated to 5 stars for the support. Outstanding This device has the connectivity I was looking for on my new laptop (Dell 288V). It drives both monitors with the lid closed on the laptop which is what I was looking for. There is no apparent lag, stutter, or blinking of the monitors with this unit which I would find very annoying. This unit is a keeper. UPDATE: This worked fine for about 2 weeks, now the stutter has appeared. The mouse is all over the place and the keyboard disconnects frequently. Yes, these work through another port on the laptop. I'll try it a bit longer, then unfortunately, I'll have to return it. UPDATE 2: The lag referenced in the above appears to have been related to load on the USB-C interface to the laptop or the laptop itself. I was running two monitors (not 4k), audio on web browser and a backup to a SAN over the ethernet connection, along with the keyboard/mouse combination through the USB-A ports. I've moved the keyboard/mouse connection and managed the load. Note again, the lag could have been the interface on the PC, not the unit. Hence, I've upgraded the review to 4 stars.

I started a home office and needed to connect two monitors to the laptop. It took two minutes to hook up. Go to your computer’s “monitor “ section of “settings” and click how you want them to look, and you’re done. It works great and is hidden behind the laptop. I have a lot of inputs left open so I’m sure I could be doing more with it, but it suits my needs perfectly.

Absolute game changer for functionality. Wish it had an old school HDMI port though

Funciona bien el adaptador, solo el USB que está solo en un costado se traba y el adaptador no funciona si planean usar un protector o case para su Mac, pues no alcanza a conectarse correctamente.

Te da bastante productividad al poder conectar 3 dispositivos al mismo tiempo, puedes cargar la Mac.

J’utilise cet adaptateur hub USB-C / HDMI avec mon MacBook Pro/Air depuis maintenant trois ans, et il remplit parfaitement sa promesse. Travaillant avec au quotidien, je craignais qu'il ne finisse par montrer des signes de faiblesse ou des défectuosités avec le temps. Il n'en est rien : la connexion reste stable, le port HDMI fonctionne sans accroc et la qualité est toujours au rendez-vous. Un accessoire d'une excellente durabilité que je recommande sans hésiter !
