These are legit! I drove them into the ground with a sledgehammer. They work well to hold landscape edge in place and I also use them to hold down landscape artwork.

We added an extension to our driveway about 5 years ago and purchased these. We recently added an additional driveway to our property and ordering these was a must. Super easy to install making our metal edging around the pavers that much stronger. Super solid product without any issues here in Florida.

These metal spikes are just what I needed for securing landscape edging. They’re sturdy and easy to hammer into the ground. They hold everything in place, even in tough soil. It’s a great DIY product, and with 45 spikes in a pack, it’s also good value. Highly recommend for any landscaping project.

They rust, which makes them stay in the ground even better.

I had another project some months ago where I used Dimex edging and ended up buying some other metal spikes that had more spikes for the price. A few weeks ago I bought more of the edging (300 feet) and boxes of these spikes because to my surprise they were like $12 a box (I see they are $30 now). Well these spikes are actually bigger than what I bought before. These are 3/8" in diameter vs. 1/4" that I bought before. I used a 2.5 pound sledgehammer to pounds these into rocky AZ soil and I know at times I had to have been splitting rocks. Only one out like 180 did I hit something that would not give and after like 12 blows did the spike kind of start to bend. I just moved to another hole in the edge. These were a smoking great deal at $12 for a box of 45. Knowing how tough and heavy duty these are, I would say they would still be a great deal at $30, but only if you really need something that will take the pounding to drive them into the soil or you know you need some great holding power.

These are exactly as described and worked great for our application. Heavy Duty non galvanized so they are supposed to rust in the ground exactly as it says. We have very hard ground and these handled it, no problem. We are very pleased with our purchase. Highly recommend.

Basically a big long nail. If that is what you need, then this should be quite satisfactory. Be advised that a package is very heavy.
