I came across Gino’s show on Prime Video by the same name. I love the style of his cooking and have watched his season 1 and 2 shows many times. This book has a number of the recipes from Season 1. For the most part the recipes are fresh, flavorful and straightforward. He travels up and down Italy creating beautiful meals from the respective regions. Most recipes I could see myself. making both for family or friends. Glad I purchased it. I did buy it used and it was in excellent condition.

The ingredients and techniques are simple and available. Just found that some of the proportions are off ?

I have its of cookbooks. I watched Gino on TV and really enjoyed his show…. Knew I wanted the cook. This book is very interesting, insane great pictures of Italy and pictures of food I recommend

I'm already a fan of Gino's Italian adventure programming. So when I found out he has books as well, I was excited to purchase it. Bought this for my husband and he loves it as we both love to cook. His recipes are easy to follow and delicious to eat.

Awesome book. I watched the series and decided to order this book. And it was so worth it. It came much faster than Amazon predicted ( like 2 weeks earlier). I would definitely recommend it for any Italian food lovers.

Excellent book for those who like Italian cousin. Love it and recommend, as Gino is a very nice and really traditional shef.

I watch Gino's shows and read his books for pleasure. My family and friends appreciate my efforts and love to eat his food.

We love Gino and all his recipes in this house (my husband is the cook here !) and after watching the TV programme, there were a lot of recipes that he wanted to try so I got this book for him to go with all his other Gino books, and I must say this is our favourite. There are some really terrific recipes in, not expensive but very tasty, some of the desserts are to die for (we had a bottle of lemoncello in the cupboard so the lemoncello and lime mousse - mmmm and the Baileys panacotta - double mmm !. All in all a terrific book, definitely his best we think, we're slowly working our way through it. There's nothing too complicated and we think it's extremely well written and illustrated, bit confused why some reviewers think otherwise. Anyway at this great Amazon price, buy it - you won't be disappointed, even if you havent tried Gino before !

You have to get this book, actually all his books, just a brilliant chef, simple and delicious recipes. I would even gift this book, every dish comes out amazing. Buy it if you want your mind blown each time you try a recipe, and practice saying “mama Mia”

I was hoping that there would have been more narrative content and more scenic pictures in the book as I am a big fan of his show. The book was described as a complement to his tv series. He tells a few stories and describes how he came up with some of his recipes but this is over all an Italian recipe book. That being said, it's still a good recipe book. Probably the best Roasted Tomato and Pancetta soup recipe that I have ever tasted.
