Excellent product and great value for money. Fitting is standard to any single gang back box, I have these all fitted to 35mm drywall boxes. Using the punch down tool, I had no problems whatsoever with connectivity to my Ethernet switch. I’m no IT/data expert, but have now installed my own home network with these guys and they made it so much easier. Highly recommend!!

No issues at all perfect

I bought these as part of retrofitting our home with Ethernet. No issues at all getting a good connection first time when punching down Ethernet wires. The faceplate is clean and no issues attaching to a backing box. I've deducted one star as I have a had a couple of failures (10 double sockets) to get the connector to seat in the faceplate. The plastic clip has gotten stuck/pushed down and hasn't wanted to go back into the faceplate. If you are doing this for the first time, plan on expending a couple of connectors and you'll be fine.

The item was just what I needed. I found the product to be well made and durable. Where the network cable punches down into is clearly labelled with the colour code of where each wire has to go. This has allowed me a someone who is fairly new to networking to be able to make up sockets with ease. Combine this with a network tester and you really can’t go wrong. When testing the network port a tester will test wires 1-8 and as they are coloured and numbered on the back it is easy to punch down the number the tester is telling u might not be punched down enough matching to the number on the back of the socket. The item was packaged well and not only had wall socket and ports but also the small cable ties to keep the wires neat and tidy. I would recommend these to others and new starters.

The connections were a doddle, just make sure you have a punch down tool. it won't work without one. The face plate is a standard size, so will fit into any existing cavity, or new installation. connections have been flawless. Everything is well labelled, and the labels on the wall plates are easily removable and usable to label ports, etc.

Brilliant sockets easy to wire once you’ve done the first one. Nice neat finish the cable ties are of a poor quality though so buy some as you will find the supplied ones break very easily. But fantastic sockets I’ve purchased a lot more of them.

Installed two of these in my home office and found them to be quite flimsy and breakable. The fixing tabs on the inner units broke on installation meaning the Rj45 sockets just pop out of the faceplate, which is pants. Found the clips that secure a patch cable in place have nothing to grip so cables just fall out. Technically, I found crimping nice and easy and the sockets didn't cause any loss/degradation on my 1gbps network. That said, not fit for purpose.

Quality isn't high grade but for the cost they function perfectly
