Great flame effect.
Great bulb and flame effect while they work. With time (on/off cycles) the flicker diminishes and turns into more of a strobe. lol.

Much Bigger and Brighter than the Standard (C7) LED Bulbs I Replaced
A little bigger and brighter that I pictured, but I'm satisfied with the look. Interestingly I have them in windows in pairs and at one point the patterns synched briefly (so the pattern isn't truly random). Interested to see how they stand up. (I had to fiddle a little with the sockets on my cheap window candles to get a solid connection.)

GREAT FLAME EFFECT, LIKE GAS LAMPS
We purchased these for Halloween, for all of our exterior double-bulb carriage lamps. They cast a beautiful flickering glow, like a gas lamps. The trick-or-treaters and their parents commented on how cool it all looked. We loved it so much that we’ll be using these for the Christmas season, as well, for that quaint Dickensian (or Kincaid painting) look.

Looks Just Like Gas Flame
Put these in our Garage Door Lanterns and they look great. From the street, look just like we had installed gas lanterns, and the effect enhances our house. Run them nightly from dusk to dawn and so far have had no issues. Will see how long they actually last (should be several years) before needing to replace, and will use them again.

Nice warm lights
These light bulbs look great. The color and effect create a warm, romantic atmosphere—perfect for dining rooms or outdoor lighting. Brightness: You’re not buying these for high lumens. They’re bright enough for a dining room but not suitable for tasks like reading. Longevity: Still unknown. If they fail within a year, I’ll update this review. No update means they’re still working, so you can judge longevity from the review date. Installation: It’s a light bulb—just screw it in. Why 4 stars: I wish the flame effect were slower. As it is, the rapid flickering can be a bit distracting. Extra feature: Cycling the power changes the mode: flame effect, blinking effect, or steady always-on mode.
