Pocket Weather Forecaster

I bought this for my nephew 18 and he uses and loves it

It's a cunning little device, rather lovely and oddly satisfying, but unfortunately superseded in effectiveness by the Met Office. I still like it, and it is broadly accurate. You need a barometer which are quite cheap to acquire.

This is a great item. It is interesting and my daughters find this fascinating. A scientific gadget? I don't know, but it is well made and causes interest amongst people that I've shown it to. Ideal gift for people of my age. Certainly I would recommend it.

So, I do like this little bit of kit. I've heard some people say they are not a working weather forecaster but I believe they are. You need a barometer (or a barometer reading from a forecast) and then you twiddle the dials according to the instructions that come with it and you get a 12 hour forecast. It made me go off to find out about air pressure and all sorts. Who knew I was such a science geek!! (Must admit I didn't find the little instructions in the case until I'd had it a few days). It would be great for science minded children or indeed big kids like me.

it is a handy gadget for telling a fairly good sign of what the weather will be like. A bit fiddly with big fingers if it was just a bit bigger about 3" across would be a good job. But this little gadget is well worth the money.

This product is easy to use and provides a remarkably accurate weather forecast.My father had one of these well over 60 yeays ago. I gave it to a friend and have regretted having done so ever since. Imagine my joy therefore to find they are still being made and a big "Thank You" to Amazon for lifting the guilt I have suffered from following an act of rash stupidity on my part.

I purchased this for my nephew in law as he always tells you what the weather is and he absolutely loves it. Totally geeked out.
