I was looking for a replacement 8" woofer replacement for my Crate BX-15. I have used Pyle speakers in my past for Car sub woofers and stereo speakers with good results. So when I found this for a replacement I knew that it would be good quality. I am not disappointed, the speaker is great quality and build. Fit perfectly in the enclosure I have. The frequency response is perfect for a replacement bass cabinet speaker. It can reach and handle the lows as well as mids and highs needed for a bass guitar. It has transformed the combo amp. Before the mids and highs were all I would get. With this one in the low end came out. It has also cleared up the mids and highs for an altogether much better sound. I did stuff the box and plug the port hole it had. That made a difference in the sound. No it does not equal a 12" cabinet but does amazingly well for an 8" cab.As far as shipping and receiving everything went well. It was delivered quickly, packaged well and not damaged.

I used these speakers to replace the woofers/mid range units in a 25 year old infinite baffle pair. They are used in a secondary location and are not to be compared to the my Bose theater system. The cost is somewhat different too. Bottom line is, they sound very good and are just the thing for this repair They should be used for what they are, that is, a good quality, well made speaker to be used in a less demanding environment. I believe they are a good buy, and the performance is better than the price would suggest.

This product is inexpensive and that’s good if that’s what you need. It does NOT handle bass well. From classic rock to hip hop, it’s there but peaks quickly. If all you listen to us classic rock or hard rock this might make it, but even Bolero and Erykah Badu are too much bass for this alleged subwoofer. Will it fill in baselines, yes. Will it handle 808 or any real sub bass - nope. I’ll be replacing it...

I have several rehearsals a week, and as they aren’t super high volume, I like to use my practice amp because it is easier to carry (I also use an Ibanez Mikro bass in rehearsals). I didn’t like the tone I was getting out of the amp, so based on another review I took a chance and installed this. It really did make a difference. There is less distortion, and overall the amp sounds less ‘boxy.’ It was a significant upgrade, and a drop in replacement. The wires in the amp aren’t very long, so I installed the speaker with the logo upside down, but you can’t tell with the grill on. I’ve had mixed results with Pyle in the past, but this is a winner.

This is a great speaker with a nice and clear sound. I bought these as a replacement for a pair of Yamaha speakers I had and the installation to the existing 8 inch hole was incredibly easy. I would definitely recommend this speaker as a replacement or a new build!

Used these to replace the organ woofers at church. I didn’t expect them to perform so well. Direct fit except spade connectors were a different size. All paper cone will out last the old foam surround ones and still delivers full pedal bass. Great value and our pro organists are very happy.

I originally bought this for a project I ended up not going with. So just for the heck of it, I used it to replace the original speaker in my Fender Rumble 15 v3 Bass Combo Amplifier. Oh my what an unintended upgrade. The original speaker was no slouch, but this thing is incredible compared to it. Deeper bass and the whole range of sound coming through perfect and perfectly clear.
