I’m 5’9 165. Large is good for me. Definitely not roomy but longer than an average hoodie. It runs tight in the arms near the wrist but I think it’s worth it. Warm and functional.

No it is not. Most pullovers of this nature are designed to be insulation worn under a weather-proof outer layer (jacket). A windproof layer inside this sweater would make it heavier and and not as comfortable. But it works great worn alone or as a layer under a coat.
