Blown bulb
Bulb was described as replacement for whirlpool American style fridge freezer. Looked correct. Blew immediately on fitting. Have ordered another in the hope that this was simply a defective bulb.

Poor Quality
I installed it new and It blew as soon as I released the fridge switch to turn it on. I bought a different brand one afterwards and it is working fine.
