Perfect Simple Changing Pad!
This is exactly what I was looking for: a simple, waterproof changing pad that you can plop down anywhere and turn any surface into a changing table! Our apt. is too small to fit a full changing table in our room with the limited space, so we needed something we could put on the bed or floor or wherever to make a changing space for our baby. This one works great for that purpose -- I love that it is waterproof so our bed is protected against spills and you can just wipe it off for easy clean-up. It is thin enough to be foldable and portable, yet padded enough to use on any surface (no, it's not as padded as a full changing table-top, but it's not meant to be one, either!). The only glitch I realized after using it a few times was that I have to keep a piece of cloth or folded diaper under my baby girl when I change her otherwise when she pees it puddles up under her and rolls all the way up her back! This issue is kind of unavoidable with any waterproof pad, though, and it still does the job of protecting the surface of our bed, which is what I was more concerned about to begin with. Bottom line, great product, very usable.

At last! The changing pad, I have, for so long, searching for.
This product is great! Is portable, reusable, easy-to-wipe-clean changing pad that I can use at home or on the go. I can now change a diaper on a bed, for instance, and be able to protect the bed from staining. But most importantly also, it protects my baby from coming in contact with surfaces from public places while on the go. When my baby was born, the hospital gave me a gift bag from Gerber that included a changing pad that is similar to the Summer Infant one. Since then, I've thought that it'd be nice to have one pad for home use and another one to use for going out. After visiting various local stores, I found that the pad I wanted was not being sold individually. The pads would come packaged inside travel bags or diaper changing kits, which were costly, and included items I did not have any use for. Needless to say, their colors and designs were unappealing. After searching online for a while, finally, I was able to find a changing pad that is affordable, appealing, and good quality. The Gerber pad I have has a plastic front and back just like the Summer Infant one, but the edges are sealed with a cloth-like material, which could easily get wet or soiled. The Summer Infant pads are better because their edges are also plastic, which can easily be wiped clean if they get dirty. They even include a velcro seal tab so that the pad can stay folded when not in use. I'm glad I finally found this product. For something I have to be doing various times a day for perhaps a few years, I think it's worth having something that's convenient and that's going to make my life easier.

Basic, cheap, folds up small and flat, works
I have used this pad to change our kid on my lap in an airplane bathroom with no changing shelf, on dozens of floors and guest beds, on uneven ground outside, and all kinds of other places (did you know that a washing machine or dryer is a perfect height for changing?). It cleans up easily, though we've never had any really spectacular blowouts for serious testing. There are bigger pads available -- longer, wider, more padded -- but this is enough for us. If you regularly need to change a tall baby or any toddler on icky surfaces that you don't even want his or her head to touch, you'll appreciate a longer pad. I think this is the least expensive non-disposable travel changing pad out there. Which is great, because we keep losing them! Somehow it's all too easy to leave them behind -- partly a function of their pleasantly neutral color scheme. I'm putting stripes of safety-orange duct tape on one for the diaper bag, and maybe it'll stay with us a few months longer.

Works great depending on changing surface beneath the pad
I have a changing table with a thin cushion in my daughter's room. The cushion has a removable fabric cover, but I wanted a wipe-able option for changing under the diaper. This pad is perfect on the table. I lay it horizontally so that my daughter lies on the fabric where it's warmer, but her bottom is on the pad. Plus, if I need to change her in another area of the house, I can just grab the pad and move it. The only thing I don't like, is that the pad slides on hard surfaces that aren't covered with fabric or carpet. When I'm using the pad in these locations, I use the pad vertically, under my daughter's whole body, so I have to put extra weight with my hand or knee on an edge to keep the pad from sliding. I have taken the pad in the diaper bag on occasion. It folds up compactly. Also, just as I wanted, the pad wipes clean easily. This was a good buy in my eyes.

No frills, fits in any bag.
This thing is fantastic. It's basic. No fancy buckles, hooks, or whatever. To me that means there's nothing to snag on all the junk I've got crammed in my diaper bag. It fits just about anywhere, I've been able to fold it down to small bags or leave it tri-folded in the diaper bag. It is a thin product, not thicker/fluffier like some others I've seen. It's just long enough for what you need. If you have a baby over 24" and you want your child entirely on the thing, then it's going to be too short. But if you're just needing diaper-zone coverage, then it's perfect. I know some folks won't lay their baby down on a changing table unless their entire body is on the pad. The surface cleans well, too.

Best changing mat.
These really are invaluable. I bought two - one for the diaper bag and one for home - and I've bought one for all my pregnant friends. They're easy to use and easy to clean - protects the baby and whatever surface I've put him on and a cinch to wipe off with a baby wipe when finished. I use bleach wipes for major messes, let dry, and then re-wipe with a baby wipe or wet paper towel to remove any residue. At home I use this on top of the changing table when I suspect that there might be a major mess...much easier to clean than the linens on the table and nicer than disposable options. I love that they are smaller than most - easier to deal with and travel with - and honestly how often are the kiddo's legs and feet on the ground anyway, when you're changing a diaper? I've used these all kinds of places - including the back seat of the car - they're perfectly sized. These are surprisingly well made considering the price and are holding up well under moderate use. I will continue to buy them, they are such a great deal!

Does what I need it to
Picked this up for myself and my baby bag. My wife got her coach bag and it came with one but I needed one for my bag (Ogio back pack) so when I had our child then I could do the things I needed to. So I picked the extra changing pad up and not only did I need it but the price was fantastic, the material was heavy and sturdy but not rough on the skin when we used it when we brought our baby girl home from the hospital. I am very satisfied with this product and I know my baby girl and my wife are also.

Watch out if your baby tinkles while being changed!
I ordered this thinking it would be great to prevent accidents in my Pack 'N Play when I had to change my 3 month old granddaughter's diapers. And it is - just big enough to fit a small baby on it. It could be turned sideways for a larger baby. BUT - I realized it wasn't so great when the baby peed right while I was changing her! I had just taken the wet diaper off and was reaching for a Huggies wipe to clean her up when she let loose. I grabbed the used diaper and shoved it under her to dam the flow, but because the plastic on the pad is so slick, the liquid ran right under her and up her back. It then ran off a little onto the crib mattress, which is what I wanted to prevent in the first place. Pack 'N Plays have a thin mattress bonded to a board backing and they can't be easily cleaned. I had to bathe the baby and put clean clothes on her and then wipe the mattress with a Clorox wipe and then spray it well with rubbing alcohol. This would be great to take in your diaper bag so when you have to use one of those cold plastic changing trays in stores and restaurants the baby will be more comfortable, but be forewarned to be ready to cram a bunch of paper towels under the baby at a minute's notice, especially if the baby's a girl. You don't want to have to change baby's clothing in addition to a diaper in a public restroom! But I just had an idea, and I think I will try this - get some of those flannel changing pads, the ones some people complain aren't really waterproof, and put one under under baby and on top of the QuickChange portable pad. That way the flannel will absorb any messes and the QuickChange pad will prevent anything from leaking onto the mattress! Problem solved.

Good product and worth the money!
We put this in our diaper bag and use it whenever we aren't at home. In public washrooms, I put it on top of the change table in stores to protect my babe from the table..just give it a quick wipe down after you're done and stick it back in the bag. Easy and more environmentally friendly(and cheaper) than the disposable ones!

buen producto
viene muy acolchonado, lo que le da sensación de buena calidad, con el tiempo de uso estos productos tienden a romperse, pero es algo normal, solo espero dure más de 6 meses. Por el precio esta muy bien.
