Ash brown color is for light black hair with possibly a few grey hairs.
I am in my mid 60's and have had thinning hair and bald areas for over a decade. I have tried long hair, short hair and all different cuts and I could never hide these spots. I would get them covered pretty well and then hairspray like crazy but, as soon as I was outside in the wind, it all fell apart. I was so embarrassed by these bald/thinning spots. This product is the first I have tried and it is amazing!!! I just sprinkle it on and spray with hairspray. I can go all day, even outside in the wind, and the fibers seem to stay put. I have not noticed any of it coming off on my pillow or clothes. I wasn't sure what shade to get but I ended up choosing ash brown and it was perfect. My hair is not dark black and it definitely is not brown. Ash brown covers my light black hair color perfectly. I have very few grey hairs and this seems to be just perfect for me.

Amazing difference.
I recently stopped coloring my hair and am enjoying the natural white gray color that it is. However, the lighter hair color also makes the pink of my scalp much more visible. A friend suggested I try the Boldify line of hair products. I had no idea she had been using them. Hers appears very natural. I now use both the Boldify thickening powder and the Boldify hairline powder to fill in sparse areas. It is easy to apply and covers the thinning areas nicely. I also purchased a light gray color for my husband. He thought it was silly, but allowed me to take a before and after of his head. What a difference! Wish it were a little more cost effective.

Does The Job Quickly Without A Lot Of Fuss
I only used it a couple of times, but it seems to do the trick. I have very thin hair, and I have areas where you can see my scalp- especially when I wear my hair partially or all the way up. I used Boldify in the areas where my hair was parted and you could see my scalp- it was a definite improvement.

Great for thin hair
I have been using this for years because I have thin hair and hate having thin spots. A little product goes along way and the price is not bad for the size you get. The photo I added is my thin spot filled in and you can’t tell. If they had PR packages I’d be signing up for them for how often I purchase

Best Hair Fibers I've Tried So Far!!
I've only ever used Toppik Hair Fibers before this, so I admittedly don't have a lot to compare it to. But compared to Toppik, I'm SHOCKED by how much more I like this product! Toppik isn't bad, mind you, this one, in my opinion, is just better. So the main issues I always had with Toppik was how messy it was to apply, and how it could end up making your hair look really powder-y, for lack of a better word. Also, if you didn't apply an appropriate amount of hairspray, every time you touched your hair or laid your head down on a pillow or armrest or something, it would leave behind powdery residue. So with Boldify, it didn't outright fix or eliminate those issues completely. But in my opinion, it is definitely better and a lot less of an issue! As far as making a mess during application, I'll be honest, that might just be because I've gotten so good at applying hair fibers from how long I've used Toppik now, that the reason it seems better may very well just be because my skull level is better and have absolutely nothing to do with the product. BUT, since it does seem to naturally stick to my hair better (even before I apply any hairspray), I'm inclined to believe that the lower amount of hair powder I find in my bathroom sink after applying this could also very well be because there's less just falling out as a style my hair. But as I said, I'm not 100% on that point TBH.What I am confident about is just how well this stays in my hair, even when I don't apply any hairspray! That's the part that shocked me the most. Now, there's definitely still some that'll come out and leave a mark on your fingers if you scratch your scalp, although not as much and I've yet to see any on my pillow case. Although to be fair, I haven't been using it as long or had as many chances yet to ensure I've isolated all other potential variables when it comes to this point. But with a hairspray in, I definitely feel more confident with this product than I did with Toppik as far as any falling out accidentally or in the rain or something. I mean, I wouldn't want my head to be soaked, but I do believe this could handle a little rain without getting completely gross looking! The best thing about this stuff is how much more natural I feel like my hair looks. It doesn't suck all the shine of my natural hair right out and make things look as powdery as Toppik did for me!Unfortunately, I did get a shade too light. I think my hair color is in-between dark brown and completely black. With Toppik, I felt like there darkest black ended up making my hair look artificially colored, so I always went a step down and it looked correct. With this brand, I don't think they have the perfect match for my hair color. That said, they do claim to replace it for you, and I'm tempted to try it just to see how the process is and whatnot for this review. But at the same time, I feel confident that the best thing I could do would actually probably be to just get another thing of black and mix the 2 together. So I'll probably just keep it for now.I haven't been using for too long now, only a little over a week. I'll update the review if anything changes, but for now, I feel confident recommending this brand!

Powdery clumpy mess
***UPDATE: The seller contacted me and promptly provided me with a full refund! Unless the formula changes, I will not buy this powder again. HOWEVER I really love the "BOLDIFY Hairline Powder - Root Touch Up Hair Color /Bald Spot Concealing Hair Powder for Women & Men - 48-Hour Stain-Proof" that comes in the little round pot with a sponge for applying and will stick with that. One star for this powder, but 5 stars for the customer service and 5 stars for their other product. I will continue to purchase from this company.===========================================================================================These hair fibers were a huge disappointment. I have some thin spots and hoped this would help to conceal. Wrong! They did not stick to my hair clean or unwashed. They left a powdery mess in my bathroom, and when applied to my hair the fibers came out everywhere when brushing (came out in some clumps and dust) or even just patting my head. I tried on clean hair and I tried with hairspray which made it look like I had dust stuck to my hair. I love the BOLDIFY Hairline Powder - Root Touch Up Hair Color /Bald Spot Concealing Hair Powder for Women & Men - 48-Hour Stain-Proof and thought since that worked so well that these would be good as well, but these fibers are disappointing. The fibers also stick well to themselves making big clumps. If you shake the can, it sounds like there are pebbles in it. I have used other brand hair fibers before (Topik) and they are ok, never had that type of problem with them. I like the BOLDIFY spot concealing powder the best and will stick with that.
