Bandai Hobby Star Wars Model Kit 1/12 BB-8 & D-0 Diorama Set, Multi

Another great Bandai Star Wars kit.

I'm not one to complain about Bandai fit and build quality but this one seems to be engineered a bit off from what you actually build . The main problem I see was the way the edges of the round center parts were placed into a square center on BB-8. There's several options for opening slots in BB-8 such as the lighter finger and sliding tray. However! You can not model these options without modifications to the body and interior pieces to make the center pieces move into position to where you can add these options , otherwise the model is build where you cannot access these areas . The bottom that connects to the base is super tight , but the top that connects the head is really loose and super glue or other ahesive would be needed to secure the head . I found the overall build not to hard , but anyone not used to these type of Japanese builds probably should stay away . The D-I0 kit just as usuless as in the movie . Easy build but you drop it from any hight and it will break . Not a lot of details in this and a super fast build . No real issues , just kinda ehh. The base plate is nice , however in plain white and would take a bit of work to make it more weathered and or more like a back ground in the star wars universe.
