It works very good if you follow given instructions
Let me start with saying that regardless of what are some bad review, it works and it worked very nice for me! Obviously you need to take care of the surface by cleaning it. Follow the simple instructions exactly as they say, and you won’t regret this product! Applied activator after having cleaned surface and the lil connector that need to be stick to rear windshield, let it dry a while (5min), apply conductive glue to part and keep it for a 1min. It worked even though in a vertical position and gravity didn’t bother glue and was perfectly stuck! After 24h it should be fine to use, I personally waited more before using the rear windshield heater. Very nice and good product! Will add some photo, and trust me some idiot before soldered that connector and that’s why it came off and I had to clean the part with a solder to clean it properly from tin soldering residue. Anyway it was easy to use as well and functional, it’s already been 2 weeks and still fine. Will post photos.

Thank you!
This worked exactly as needed to fix my rear window defogger tab. The repair was straightforward and the adhesive bonded well without any issues. Once it cured, the connection was solid and the defogger started working again like it should. It saved me from having to replace the whole rear glass. Great product for a simple and effective repair. Definitely worth it.

Worked once and now does not
Based on feedback I took time to really clean the contact point on the wiring and glass. Followed the instructions with those cleaning instructions, kneeding the material, etc. It is very fluid, I was expecting it to have been a little thicker. No worries, I was able to dab a little on the glass point of contact and then put some on the wiring contact. Not being my first rodeo, I had a small clamp standing by which I gently clamped down until the wiring contact was firmly against the glass but not so much I would risk breaking the contact or the glass. It was mid 70's F and 40% humidity. I left the clamp in place for 7 hours, the glass in the up/open position. After I took the clamp off, the epoxy had a few weeks to cure as the temps were still warm. The first morning I had moisture buildup due to the overnight temps I tested my rear defrost, it worked and I was very happy.... until the next time I tried it. The second time, nothing. It failed. I checked the fuse (it is good) I have voltage running to the contact but nothing is happening. The contact is still firmly epoxied in place, it has not moved and will not move. Something is up with the epoxy that after the first run it seems to no longer be conducting. The TLDR; version: Took excessive steps to prep and install, worked once, now no longer works.

I’m A Believer
This stuff works and works fast. Wear gloves and follow the instructions! It was easy to apply onto the glass and within a minute, the tab bonded to the glass, so work quickly.

Read This First - The Missing Step
First of all, did this work? Yes. I think it’s actually worked quite well now that it’s bonded on there. For my repair I was replacing a broken tab and one that had just fallen off. I went ahead and ordered two new tabs on Amazon. The two new tabs fit just fine and they were very similar to my old tabs. That included four little dimples on the bottom side of the tabs. The missing piece of these instructions is that it does not tell you that if you have dimple feet or dimple indentions on the bottom of your tab then those have to be filed off flat otherwise this will not adhere. This looks like it is different than the original OEM epoxy. When I originally tried, it would not adhere. Even after following the instructions to the letter. Fortunately, I quickly was able to figure out that it needed to sit completely flat against the glass even though most of the tabs I have seen have a little dimple feet on the bottom. It does say in passing in instructions about sitting flat but not all feet are flat. Take a metal file and file those down flat. It doesn’t take much just a few strokes, but make sure they’re flat. Once you do that then one to two drops of this after following the instructions seems to work just fine. I’ve got current and heat on my rear window now. So would I get it again? Yes but I wish they would tell you in the instructions that if your tabs have dimple feet on the bottom, you need to file those down flat with a file first! Oh and you can probably adhere about a half dozen or more with one pack. A little goes a long way. Why four stars? Instructions could be clearer.

Worked great
I ordered this for my Wife's 2018 Jeep JL. These things have a known issue with the rear defroster solder joint breaking and that exactly what happened. I sanded the tab and the window portion with some 220 to knock the rough edges off. Cleaned everything with alcohol and followed the tinstructions on the box. The only think I did a little differently was to gently warm the glass with a hair dryer first, and I left the tab taped in place for several hours before I removed it. Holding up strong and defroster works great. If you are using this on a JL don't for get to zip tie the wire to the little snap on section where the wire was originally. This will make the wire pull on the tab and not rip the tab off the window moving forward.
