Eastman 1-1/2 Inch No-Hub Coupling with Stainless Steel Clamps, 43401

These items are primary used on PVC water and sewer lines. However, they can be used on metal water lines. Life span may be 10 or twenty years --since they are fabricated from SS and a good quality of rubber/plastic seals. An easy method of making a joint between "rigid" pipes! (Example--a sewer line buried 43 inches deep)

Both couplings are missing the rubber inner sleeve/gasket which makes these worthless to make a water tight connection. Not worth the aggravation to go through the trouble to return them. Into the trash they go.

Bought by mistake not what we were intentionally going to use it for so I still give it a five star rating

Fits good for what I needed it for.

There is no quality control at this company. They sent several couplings with no rubber and when I returned them for a replacement they sent new ones without rubber.

This was used to connect a mesh screen https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BW2VWG0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to the terminus of a 3” PVC drain pipe the takes runoff into the desert. Was easy to install and offers protection of the rubber gasket from critters who may find it tasty.
