These 2 brackets are perfect. The round circular bases are ringed with STRONG neodymium magnets - but NO magnets in the center area (pic1). I has to use the light bar's hardware to connect this to the light because the included bolts from this kit was too thick to fit the light bar's threads. That was the only issue which meant I had to use some extra washers because this metal bracket is thinner than the plastic bracket from the light bar and the long bolt wouldn't tighten enough to stabilize the angle of the light until I put 3 washers AND a nut to "shorten" the bolts (pic2). Overall this is an all metal bracket that is well made and provides a very strong magnetic connection between my car's roof and this light bar. Definitely would recommend!

Wonderful . Works for a full size light bar that weighs about 25-28 lbs . Didn’t wanna drill into my roof fo a light bar I’ll only use on weekends and occasional dark drives so I decided to go with a plug in light bar and some magnets. It’s difficult to remove by yourself so I’m sure it won’t fly off if you’re going less than 30 mph off-road . Idk if I’d trust it doing 80 . Just have to see to be honest lol

Great for my light bar. Easy to install. They are strong and don’t move or come off easily. Recommend for those who don’t want their light bar permanently installed or make holes in their vehicle

So there’s no contour capability, and doesn’t completely sit on both magnets if placed on the roof of a truck as advertised. Still pretty good hold I just don’t trust at high speeds. If it had a slight suspension to it this product would blow every other bracket out of the water especially the ones you gotta drill into the body to mount. If you guys ever come up with something like that please send me a complimentary pair for providing the idea….Definitely worth the price😁
