Excellent product

I've changed my diet to "high carb LOW FAT" "whole foods plant based diet" and it effected my health so wonderfully then I started searching organic, nontoxic skin care products and avalon's shampoo has worked great so far. My hair is way more volumed than months before however the result is a combination of good products and definitely a healthy plant based diet (fresh vegetables -steamed veggies- ripe fruits, whole grains, starches, legumes, nuts & seeds. Certainly no meat, no dairy, no poultry, no seafood, no processed food, no bleached white sugar, no salt, no oil -not even olive oil- only whole foods plant based diet that's how I fixed all of my health problems for good.) Results come with more than 80% of diet very little percentage of the good products that we use.

I have Hashimoto's Disease so my hair is thinning. I've used so many different shampoos over the years. A month ago I was distressed about how much hair I was losing. My son uses this shampoo and recommended it. My hair loss isn't going to stop overnight, but in the past month it's really been reduced. My hair feels thicker and shinier and my scalp isn't dry.

Doesn't lather as much as I would as I would have liked, but does give my hair more body.

I can't say enough good things about this shampoo. I am a mature (aka getting old) woman who is suffering from thinning hair. I have been taking Biotin tablets as part of a daily regimen for nearly two years and I found that it helped somewhat. When I discovered this shampoo and combined it with the oral Biotin, the results were very noticeable. Please don't think you will see changes overnight. I have been using this shampoo for more than 6 months now and it wasn't until about after four months of continuous use (again, coupled with the oral Biotin) that I saw changes. My hair has grown a little thicker, but more importantly, it has stopped falling out. Praise God and Avalon Organics.

Shampoo dries up your hair. After about a week of using this product my face and ears had a bad reaction. Swollen ears and my skin became dry and brittle, feels like a sun burn. My worst experience with shampoo so far.
