Dissatisfaction with description
This is not what I expected by the description in that it doesn't adapt a Sony hotshoe to accept a Nikon speedlight

Some problems
Had a few issues and had to send back two of them before getting one that fully worked but once i did its perfect and does its job perfectly. Seller was undersanding and fits perfectly on the cold shoe.

Did the job admirably
Good specification and worked well using an external flash array with a Canon D300 camera.

Not a scam, but not useful for all old flashes
Bought to use with an old flash and it was totally useless.

No thread on the pC connection.
I'm sure this will work on a camera but it does not have a thread to screw the lead into on the side. So if you want to use it to trigger a flash on a staand, you may need to use some duct tape to keep the wire in place.

Simply not strong enough
Stopped working after about 300 shots even though the cable was properly secured with no tension on the connection.
