TotalMount Drop-Free Remote Holder – Removable Adhesive Strips – Black

At first I read the bad reviews. I'm glad to say, I have no issues. this product is exactly what I was looking for. well packaged and shipped. I bought three. mounted them on the wall with enclosed command strips. they're perfect. they have an independent in the bottom so strip tips will be available should you need to remove. I use command strips all the time. if you pull slowly, most of the time it doesn't hurt your wall or paint on the wall.1st picture is package everything included. 3rd pic looking into the box also has air holes. look like dashes in the bottom. 4th fan remote inside. 5th is underneath where command strips stick out for easy removal. also comes with screws should you choose to mount that way instead. plastic is hard, stable, durable. easy to install. I recommend this product. I did not receive any compensation for this post.

These remote holders are working perfect for us. We actually mounted them on the headboard of our bed. We are not losing the remotes anymore!

These are sturdy boxes which I chose to mount with the 3M Command strips. The manufacturer made these boxes with a series of elongated holes in the bottom which would make them a sure bet if you wanted to mount them in a shower area for some reason. Also, the bottom is not flat. The bottom is rounded upward on the inside (not sure why). However, I bought this set of two Total Mount remote control boxes BUT not for the remote part. My plan all along was to include them as part of a panty/laundry room make over. At the laundry room end of the fairly small space I have taken a number of steps to make that space more efficient and more visually fun and user friendly for myself on laundry day. Quite awhile back I had hung on the wall one of my much used laundry day tools (a black handled 2" tapered gold nylon paint brush dedicated to cleaning lint off the dryer lint screen). I expanded on that theme by hanging these two white plastic boxes: one holds one Tide To Go Instant Stain Remover pen and one OxiClean On the Go Stain Remover pen. That took up most of the space in one of these boxes. The second of these boxes holds one Lysol Disinfectant Spray To Go and one small bright LED flashlight (to hunt for coins that fall unexpectedly out of pockets). The last thing I hung on my "tool wall" was a new pair of Tim Holtz 5" thread snippers--a prize addition to my tool wall. (Check them out too!) Happy laundry day... let's see, isn't that on Tuesday?

This remote holder is very easily installed. Either with mounting screws of double-sided tape, both choices come with the holder. This is not a thin case holder . The holder appears to be made very well with thick walls. Great value for the money.

Historically, 3m strips don't hold well in my bathroom. Humidity is not their friend. If they failed, I'd blame 3m not TotalMount. That said, TotalMount's ratio of strip size to size of unit works for a small remote we use to control a battery powered light. The holder (thick plastic, and surprisingly sturdy, almost dwarfing my small remote) is high quality with a hole in the bottom if one wanted to run a cord to whatever is stored inside it.
