How are the grubs dried?

No idea, but my ducks go absolutely bonkers over them when they come up from the creek in the evening and they're waiting for them in a pail of water.

Is this product ok to give to quails too?

You can feed quail anything so I would say yes

How old should the chicks be when giving this treat?

Hi, You can start feeding the grubs right away. For very young chicks, you may need to break the grubs up to make them small enough. Some customers will pulse them once or twice in a food processor. Some just break them up in their hands.

If you are only giving it as a treat once a day for about 6-8 chickens...(1 handful daily maybe) how long do you estimate the bag would last?

We have 8 chickens and give these as a treat. We give them more than a handful a day and it lasts all month. We do the monthly auto-delivery. The chickens love them. If you give a handful a day these will last you more than a month. Maybe even a few months...
