Daytona Helmets 3/4 Shell Open Face Motorcycle Helmet – DOT Approved [Captain America] [S]

Love the retro helmet. Bought a universal fit face shield. Looks great and comfortable. I love the color match to my Can Am spyder.

I have many helmets. My main is a Shoei, but I wanted something for my two EV scooters around town. I ordered a different brand here on Amazon and promptly returned it. It was very uncomfortable and not up to the standard I expected. Then I got this Daytona helmet and was pleased. Now, it's important to note, that this does not compare with a quality name product in either fit, finish, comfort, paint, etc. But the reason it gets 5-stars is the value. I don't know of any other helmet at this price point that is this good. The foam is a little firm at first, but it breaks in fairly quickly. You might think it's too small in the beginning as I did, but give it a chance. It cups over your ears so well, it does a better job of isolating wind noise than some premium helmets and I'm glad for that. Unfortunately, there is no gap in the padding for glasses to enter, but I've found my glasses/goggles squeeze in with no pain so all is forgiven there. Lastly, the quick-release strap is a nice touch. I usually add versions of this feature, so it's one thing I didn't have to do. Great value for sure. I'm keeping it!

It’s very slim and light weight the fast securing system is great to put on and off.The helmet comes 1 size smaller than usual compared to Bell 500 and 2 sizes smaller compared to biltwell bonanza.For example I’m L biltwell XL bell 500 and XXL in this Daytona cruiserThe bad… at higher speeds if you move your head it will try to blow up. It’s not snug fitting like bellAlso the secure system it’s not very good for this scenarios.The snaps seem to be loose when using a shield vs bell or biltwell snaps.

Low profile and doesn't make you look like a fat head. Graphic design is awesome. I get compliments about it all the time. Highly recommend the mfg.

Daytona did a great job with this helmet! It sits nice and low, with no mushroom-head look. Exactly what I was going for. Feels light and fits well using the size chart. You aren't going to get a ton of premium features with this helmet, but I knew that going in. Great buy if you are looking for a low-profile, minimalistic DOT-rated graphic helmet.

Love the helmet. Fits great. Was able to put my Bluetooth headset into it. Comfortable, great style, etc.But the visor that comes with it is terrible. Won’t snap in middle. Pops out and wiggles around when driving. Unsafe!Contacted Daytona to get a replacement - no response. If I don’t get a response this week I will return the helmet to Amazon and get something else. If they don’t want value good customer service then that’s a shame!

Overall a nice quality and designed helmet with profile low enough that doesn't make you look like Gazu or other bubble head cartoons.As other reviewer said, the helmet was shipped directly from the (open) box (it didn't come inside an Amazon box as other products or helmets that I have ordered) nor the box came with any seals, something to keep in mind.The helmet looks brand new, doesn't look to be used or smashed in any way, and it comes with the usual brand identificatory tied / hanging thingy, it also came with a keychain displaying the brand name and the sun visor as its showed on the product picture.The fit itself runs small ("a bit" or "more than a bit", depending on the case), I'm a 24" intermediate oval and ordered a 2XL since I'm just on the limit between XL - XXL sizes and the fit feels snug, no hot or pressure points that could make any pain, but figure being on the "top half" of the measure would've been a problem, for reference, my other helmet is a XL Shoei Neotec2 and it felt snug when I bought it in the past.Looking forward to give a try on the road once the weather clears up and we get better days to ride.

Fits great, low profile. Does catch a lot of wind noise.

el mejor casco que he comprado las medidas de la tabla corresponde perfecto a la medida de mi cabeza pedí M porque mi cabeza mide 55.5cm exactamente y esta en el rango de la M, la calidad es muy buena ademas no se ve como hongo es de bajo perfil , y venia con un plus que me alegro a pesar de que se envió con retrasos ,no se porque ;sin embargo la espera valió la pena el regalo era un llavero y una malla para la cabeza y su bolsa para transportarlo . por dentro es muy cómodo ,con otro que tenia llegaba con las orejas de coliflor este ensamble perfecto ;pues en general excelente , compraría otro sin duda .
