These are above average pizza shears, and worth the money. Sharp enough (but not stellar sharp). And with smooth enough action. I have no regrets spending $38 on them, having used less expensive and rougher pizza shears, The question is: do you need them? Yes, these will cut pizzas of all styles and shapes, but they’re really geared toward preserving the outer corniche—the end of the crust that puffs, huge and airy with bubbly crumb—in Neopolitan and artisian style pies.. Regular wheeled pizza cutters or mezzaluna (rocking) cutters will smash down that highly desired air rise you worked so hard for in Neo-like styles. These scissors really help to preserve the open and airy crust, particularily in 00 dough formations (read Caputo). But again, they will cut any pizza around. They’re just more delicate and require an attentive touch. They’re not designed for a quick-wham-slice-is-cut action like rolling or mezzaluna pizza cutters are. So to criticize and leave negative reviews about these scissors not giving hard, lickity-split action (‘not a game changer’) through your drier classic American pizza styles, well, is just ignorant. These work wonderfully if your expectation are realistic. If you’re not sure about some of the things upon which I write and espouse, go and study more—pizza making is complicated and you should know much before selecting tools. With all this said, I think these will do a wonderful job cutting Digiorno frozen supermarket pizza that tends to rise high with bread-eee-ness. It will just take a beat (3-4 seconds) longer than a rolling cutter or a butcherious mezzaluna slicer.

Love it! What a concept, cut a slice in the size you want to at the moment. Easy to take it apart and wash it.

I'd like it if these were a little longer because they don't reach the middle of a 12" pizza in one cut. I'm not convinced these are better than any way than a wheel cutter. They come apart easily and come out of the dishwasher clean though.

The pizza scissors work great. They make a nice cut and keep your hands away from the top of the pizza to keep your hand clean. I have used them twice and it happen to be that I washed and dried them and put them away after they use. Here’s the problem – – I use them last night for the third time and I didn’t wash them right away, so pizza sauce was left on there for about three hours. No biggie because my pizza sauce I never have a problem with. This wasn’t MY sauce and the scissors became RUSTED!! Yes, VERY “Stained”. Not stainless at All! I soaked them in soapy water as well, and I found 7-8 New and larger Rust stains! So if you wash and immediately dry them, you’re good. Seller, Please read this. And correct the product name or please refund my money so I can buy something great from Williams-Sonoma or comparable that lives up to its name.

I first saw these in a beautiful pizza resturant in Penticton. I had never seen pizza come with scissors and was amazed by how well they worked. Bought some when I got home and have not been disappointed!!

Sono molto comode per tagliare la pizza, ma anche per fare tagli sulla carta o altro. Tagliano tantissimo... le stavo lavando e mi sono affettato... maneggiare con cura e lontano dai bambini. Comodo che si sganciano facilmente in due parti, permettendo un perfetto lavaggio. Comoda la custodia in plastica, per evitare che ci si tagli inavvertitamente. Sono lavabili in lavastoviglie, ma preferisco lavarle a mano, per evitare ruggini... anche se sembrano fatte di ottimo materiale... certo, sono costose, ma ne vale la pena... come si dice... "poco pagare, poco avere"... spesso ci fanno pagare eccessivamente cose scadenti... non è questo il caso... il prezzo può sembrar alto, ma alla lunga ci si rende conto di aver fatto un ottimo acquisto. Provare per credere!

The idea of the scissors is fantastic, and the quality of these is great. To become perfect they just need a little curve on the end, but it doesn't really matter. On top of this, that can betaken apart into 2 parts that go easily into the dishwasher. great product 5/5
