Rocklock Screwgate Carabiner

This is a great carabiner, screw gate old school charm. It works well, strong, well built, with a wide opening for larger ropes and equipment (Pulley's) I like and bought two more for my belay harness. Good Luck.

Awesome for rappelling, locks up good, has plenty of room for rope wraps and is very affordable. The round bar design allows for smooth rope operations.

This is a large carabiner, but it is easy to handle because of the slight bend in the spine. The lock screws down easily and the round ends work smoothly with an atc.

What can I say? As a rock climber, I want something that I know I can trust for myself and my partner, and this carabiner does just that. The lock works well and never slips. I would recommend this to any of my climbing friends or anyone looking for a high-quality carabiner. Black Diamond puts out a great, sturdy product.

Nice staple climbing carabiner. I have 30 years climbing experience; this is a reliable design with smooth function. Pro: less likely to inadvertently unlock due to rope running across the gate (most auto locking carabiners can do this); smoother surfaces than most locking ‘biners Con: user must always remember to use the gate lock (not self-locking); a bit slower when switching hardware, vs other designs

I use these for canyoneering. They can take a beating and always perform. They're relatively light and are easy to lock.
