Great gift for husband
My husband loved this book! I gave it to him for our anniversary and the overall quality of the book itself is nice. It is a visually beautiful book. He has read through most of it and says it's very interesting and has a lot of small details other books don't go into

Great book, marred by amazon.
This really is an insightful book with lots of information. Too bad Amazon employees don't get paid enough to care. I really don't like receiving brand new books with tears and scuffs. Of coarse, that's not the book's fault, which I still highly recommend.

Great Resource
I always look for any book by DK great illustrations and pictures for what ever the subject matter. This new updated version does not disappoint. Each era is filled with information on key events in history along with an easy to follow timeline. It’s a table top time capsule.

Amazing quality, worthy read!
I am amazed that the order arrived ahead of schedule! The book is in great shape (brand new)... although it wasn't encased in plastic, and there are super minor tears (only on the corners). The packaging box looks so beat up though... Overall, I love its speedy delivery, and that the package is brand new. Improvement: please encase the product in protective plastic to ensure minimal damage. Super enjoyed reading it!

An excellent edition to a book collector and a fine book for war historians and history buffs
Its a great book one ive been eyeing for a while. It has distinct knowledge of history of warfare from the earliest records to the modern ones with key details that makes this book an excellent choice for war historians or general history buffs. The pictures used in this book is also what makes this book so engaging and interactive and helps with visualization. While the books contents are very informative, the book that i received was partly damaged mainly at the spine its quite disheartening to receive it in such state especially considering the price of the book.
