Worked perfectly
We had an old Chicago wall mount faucet in our kitchen. The hot side was dribbling, then it started to whistle. It was truly annoying. Upon disassembly I discovered that it was a stem with a ceramic disc. Tracked it down by using a picture of the old one, replaced and no more problem. :)

These work perfectly as a replacement for the original type valve
These Valves are a replacement for the original 1913 design Valves with the seal on the bottom, they work much better, no water hammer now.
