I bought it to bake bread in it. Great results! Absolutely love it and it’s really beautiful to look at! Great investment!

I use the dutch oven once or twice a week and it has performed well in the first month. It heats quickly and well on my induction range. It cleans up quickly with hot soapy water even if I leave it overnight. The price makes it affordable forthose of us outside the 5%.. The external enamel is brigh and attractive so I can leave it out.

I use it to cook fry chicken soupsalso to prepare dough for my baking

I used it for the first time today and made beef stew, and I like it very much. However I am 75 years old and I find it a bit heavy. But I do like the way it cooks.

Missing knob but was able to get one to fit bought it on used same as new

When the Amazon box arrived it was not damaged, but there were multiple items in the box. One was the box with the Crucible 10 1/4”Dutch oven in a Sur la Table box. Upon opening the Sur la Table box I discovered the lid had two areas where the Red enamel was chipped off. Inside the main pot there was a small chip in the enamel as well. I am considering whether to return the Dutch oven. I feel that the packaging was not enough to protect the enamel from damage.

I bought is to heat food instead of microwave. It works: I just need to heat it on the stove first. But it turned out to be much more useful than I expected. I use it on the gas stove (make buckwheat kasha, omelet), as well as in the oven. It makes the best marinated backed fish. Every recipe which calls for a foil can be made much better in this Dutch oven.

Perfect for making Dutch oven bread. My first loaf of no-knead bread was perfection. It was super crusty and the inside was soft and chewy. Tasted just like bakery bread. I love the proper size handles that you can grasp properly while wearing oven mitts.Over 5 years later and still used often ti make bread.Solid choice.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a versatile pot - my partner uses it to bake bread, and I use it for stews and soups on the stove top, or for oven baked casseroles, etc. Our bread results have definitely improved since we started using this pot, although baking regularly at 240°C chipped the enamel on the lid after two weeks. This is only very minor, and the pot still does its job really well at an affordable price, so it doesn't bother us. I love the cheerful bright red colour, and the pot is bigger than it looks, so it's great for batch cooking. Creates a nice fond at the bottom when frying onions or meat, which adds plenty of flavour too. Great all-rounder - we're really happy with our purchase!
