388220 Electric Step Double Ball Joint

Good product. Some instructions would have been nice. 2 bolts, one slightly longer than the other but nothing to tell you which is where. (Old one bolts were non removable).

I would’ve given it a 5 ⭐️ but it doesn’t come with washers which are needed. Also, the links are longer than the EOM. I had to screw them almost all the way done for the correct fit. But it worked!

Advertises double ball joint and also states 2-pack. what u get is 2 pack of single ball joints. ALSO can already tell its going to need modified or parts from the old one because it has different bolts and does not have locking nut for placing between the 2 ball joints.

The new joint is the black on the left. First obvious change is that the adjustable connecting rod does not have the adjustable rod. you have to disconnect one end of the ball joint to adjust the connecting rod to make the step travel adjustments. Second, there are no locking nuts to lock the connecting rod in place. I am disappointed but with my current ball joint bolt snapped in two, i have no choice as the original unit does not allow for the bolt being replaced.

Was able to repair stair. Item is a bit different then the OEM but worked okay... Note: keep ALL of the old hardware till you know what you can use from the new kit and need from the old. For me, the coupling bolt from the OEM was counter threaded on one side - this allowed for adjustment after install. Glad I kept that old hardware till repair was made...

The item that is pictured is not what I got. The picture shows the OEM link, but what I received is an updated or perhaps aftermarket link. The package did have the Lippert part number on it. When I installed the new link the step would not extend all the way out. Investigating I found the new link to be fatter and was hitting the stop bolt on the sector gear. I was faced with grinding of some material or installing a small spacer or washer on the bolt that fastens the link to the sector gear. I chose to the latter and used a longer bolt than what came with the link. It works fine, but for $50 I should not of had to make a modification.

When I ordered the item it stated that it was a "2 pack". Expected two and only received a single set. Deceptive! I could have purchased this elsewhere for a better single price.

Threads on bolts did not work well. Poorly made. Had to use some of my old parts instead.

Cette pièce remplace exactement la pièce originale. Seul bémol, pas de rondelles livrées avec la pièce. Quand même très content.

OEM replacement. Original had broken and used 1/2 of this to get my stairs working again

Très bon produits exactement comme sur la.photo ..bon pour vr classe A.... pour marche électrique.

Produit pas pareil comme la photo de présentation c’est un équivalent
