KOHLER 1109092-0 Hinge Base Cover

The KOHLER 1109092-0 Hinge Base Cover is a fantastic replacement part that fits perfectly. I recently used it to replace a worn-out hinge base cover on my Kohler toilet, and I’m thoroughly impressed. I bought to replace one that broke. My toilet isn't any brand I know of (nothing marked on it) but the piece slid in place perfectly. Great "universal" fit.

It's a perfect fit for Kohler toilet seats and I was really surprised that Amazon had this part.

Expensive for a small piece of plastic but it fixed our issue. Our toilet is bone and the replacement piece is white so it doesn’t match but that’s OK. We are no longer falling off of our toilet lid

These saved me from having to replace my Kohler toilet seat. I bought extras - they are good for both bathrooms. I had asked at bath stores that sold Kohler and got nowhere. Nice save by Amazon

My sons family stayed with us for 9 months. Two grandsons says manage to break things. I don't know how a toilet hinge got broken but hey, they are masters at breaking stuff. Easy fix with this part. It snapped right into place so toilet seat stays on place just like new again. I ordered a second one just to have on hand but really don't as it being broken again. However, I did notice my sons bathroom had the same toilet seat so now that they are in their own home, I can offer my extra hinge the moment my little monsters break their toilet seat, lol. I want able to find this item in the hatter stores so but am extras they are cheap enough to have on hand.

The cover is fine... the advertising on Amazon is what sucks. My seat was manufactured in late 2023 and the hinge has been redesigned. This little cover broke, but it only fits the redesigned hinge. Bummer.IMO, Kohler should change the part number on their seats if they claim these parts fit. This cover does not fit my older seat. (but Kohler has already made it right by sending me an updated hinge, so Kudos for fantastic "after the sale" customer service!).

I searched all the normal big box stores around me for this part, but didn’t have any luck. They all suggested buying and installing a brand new toilet seat. Really happy I found this on Amazon! Arrived in one day and easily snapped onto my existing toilet seat. Keep in mind that you don’t get a pair if you order qty 1!
