First of all, I rarely write a review. But this hair formula really did work for me. I've always had long hair, fine texture but lots of it. Through the years, I have tried many hair growth supplements just to both maintain growth and health of my hair. Nothing ever seemed to make any noticeable difference. In November 2018, I started experiencing significant hair loss due to a rough few months of severe stress. It was so alarming. I did a ton of research and landed on DrFormulas HairOmega DHT formula. Checked it out on Fakespot.com to make sure the reviews were honest and it had an A rating. Which is hard to get due to the many dishonest Amazon Reviews on products out there. DrFormulas never asks for reviews and never bribes customers with a free bottle for a review. I've been taking it since December 2018. I decided to try to stop obsessing about the hair fall it and give it a month to start doing its work. Sure enough, there was less and less hair on my hairbrush and less hair in the bathtub. I avoided checking my hairline and part for progress and just let it be. Three months later I was cleaning my face and had all my hair pulled back in a hairband and was shocked to see all my edges were grown in with new hairs. I inspected my scalp and could see new hairs sprouting all over my head. I wanted to give this product 6 months before leaving a review and progress report. I will continue to take these supplements. Highly recommend but be patient and give it at least 3 to 6 months to see significant change. Remember it is hair and it takes time to grow. Satisfied customer.

I have tried a lot of hair supplements and so far this is my favorite. I have not seen any results in even the really expensive supplements but with the DrFormulas DHT Blocker I do see more new growth than I have in a while. Unfortunately I have not seen a reduction in shedding but I have come to grips with the fact that I don't think anything can reduce shedding. I will take the increased new growth as a win.

I bought this product after noticing more scalp peeking through my bangs where they meet the sides above the temples. I had been noticing more hair shedding especially when applying mousse to wet hair (hands coated in strands, ugh). Plus I miss my full head of thick, strong, frizz free strands. It has gone from thick to fine in the last decade. Good thing I had a lot to begin with. Anyway, I don't know if peri-menopause-related imbalances and stress-related issues straightened out on their own at the same time I began this, or if it is all due to this product--but I DID see a decrease in shedding within a week and I now have baby fine, one inch long hairs growing along my forehead and temple area. Another reason to think this product is working--my eyelashes. They have never been short, but never this long! Now I know that doesn't just happen! I must mention I also added Biotin, but just one little dose a day. I am a real tight wad and skeptic, but I suggest to anyone to give this a try, especially ladies beginning to see loss as they head down the road to menopause. I really am thinking this is working, and their 6 week supply, only 2 a day is a better deal than I've seen for other products boasting the same results. Biotin, if you choose to add it, is cheap at the local drug store. Good luck! Update: I bought this for my older teen son after noticing visible thinning due to medication and/or genetic hair loss. After a month, I looked at his scalp and found baby hairs growing at his forehead, and new hairs growing at the crown. There is a halt to his hair loss and obvious regrowth. We both say this works! BUT you cannot have an unhealthy diet and lifestyle and expect anything to help. We both are doing several non-chemical things recommended for hair growth, including an alkaline diet and essential oils on the scalp proven to work as well as or better than Rogaine. Do your research like I have. Good luck!

I am extremely skeptical about hair vitamins. I have used quite a few over the years and some are pure shames while others work for a while then stop working after you stop taking them. Others are just too expensive. These hair vitamins are affordable, and it has one agent (DHT) I thought may stop the tremendous amount of shedding I have been experiencing. I ordered two bottles and began taking the pills according to the instructions. I am almost finished with the second bottle and I must admit the pills are working. The shedding is minimal and I even have new hair growth in the thinning areas. The edges are even filling in and my hair much healthier a few months ago. It takes time for the vitamins to work, so a just remained patient and keep on schedule. I still have ways to go, so I will order another two bottles.

While eating this i didn’t get any change in my hairs . But i am happy it didn’t give me any other problem i feel normal while taking medication 💊.

I've been taking this for 3 months now and noticed 1 thing first that let me know that it was working. I'm 43 years olds and had hair transplants about 10 years ago. My doctor gave me propecia which I swear to you is the worst drug on the planet. Side effects that make you want to kill yourself. Propecia is avodart which is a prostate med that caused a side effect of dht blockage. Well, after taking it for 6 months and getting sicker and sicker I stopped taking it. About 2 months later i had issues with my prostate including difficulty urinating, frequent feeling of need to urinate and weak stream. Since I was completely against taking any meds for the issue I pretty much had to just deal with it. Well...flash forward 10 years. My transplants are thinning and I can't shave my head anymore due to big scar around my head from ear to ear from the transplant. I decide I'm going to try to do something about it. I start doing research and find that none of these products have any side effects based off of all of the reviews I've read. About a week after I start taking this I notice I'm not having to go to the bathroom all of the time and after the first month all of those symptoms went away. I started doing a little research and found that most of what makes up this stuff is also in the prostate supplements that are out today. Basically this stuff is like propecia only you won't want to commit suicide while you're on it. At 3 months (along with minoxidil and dht blocking shampoo I've had people asking if I've been dying my hair and others mention that my hair was a lot thicker in the back. The reason why they are asking if I've been dying my hair is because the hair follicles are a lot fatter now and look darker. I don't really look at the back with a mirror very often but there is definitely more hair now. I am far from having a full head of hair but I would say that the density is about the same as about 9 months after my transplant which was "appropriate" for my age but still thinner. 3 more months to go so I can say that I've given it a true test and I hope to see even better results. I will update at that time.

It's only been a month that I've been taking these hair-restoring vitamins, but I am so far pleased with the results. Actually, that's an understatement. About 4 years ago when I turned 60, I started noticing more hair loss during washings, and thinning hair overall. Worse, the crown hairs became brittle and the ends just a mess of broken strands that would not grow no matter how many products I used to nurture my hair back to normal. I took a regimen of hair-strengthening vitamins, used high-end salon-only shampoo and conditioner, such as Oribe (about $50 for the shampoo), took fish oil, biotin, etc. Gradually, my hair loss ended but my strands were still a lot thinner than they used to be and still frizzy and brittle on top. NOW, however, my hair seems to be getting back to what it was several years ago and my crown area looks so much better than before. Time will tell if I can actually grow my hair again without a lot of breakage that required more cutting to make it appear to be healthy. I hope that Bio Prosper Labs won't stop manufacturing this product! BTW, for others who may be experiencing this kind of hair loss/thinning, I was and am convinced it has to do with DHT causing the damage. Therefore, Hairomega's DHT blocker may be the miracle ingredient that was just what my own hair needed. If that's true, it is so reassuring to know that there is a real cure for the problem, an actual cause and effect connection that is not unfixable after all.

I used to have really thick hair. After going through really serious trauma between 2008 and 2010, my hair was falling out by the handful. Although my hair eventually stopped falling out, the hair that I lost didn't grow back. My once thick braid now was about the thickness of my thumb - seriously. I resigned myself to having thin hair. Didn’t notice much difference in my hair fall, finished the whole bottle that equals to 1 month and half, paired with topical 5% minoxidil. Will be switching to Finasteride instead to get faster results.
