Q: Is this trim washable? Thank you.

I washed mine prior to using as a trim for a dress. I used hand wash cycle, cold, Ivory Gentle soap, inside a laundry bag. I lightly dried on low temp and finish on a line in my garage (I live in Hawai’i and I didn’t want to dry it in direct sun). It turned out fine. I folded in back in place on a piece of cardboard to help hold the shape.

Q: Is the lace white? Are the pearls natural colors? I am confused by the gold mentioned in the description.
