Lazzaroni Amaretti, 16-Ounce Tin

OMG! These are delicious! The come individually wrapped, two cookies to a pack, in blue and pink papers in a very nice tin. I didn't trust the tin to keep them fresh, so I bought a large jar to keep them in. They are expensive, but they are from Italy. When you open the tin, the smell is wonderful. You won't be disappointed.

We had this exact tin sitting on my kitchen countertop for my entire childhood. I remember it vividly. The cookies inside were doled out for special occasions and I really looked forward to them. Eating them again was no different today than it was 35 years ago and I was happy I got to share them with my partner and her family. They were all very impressed with my good taste and not one person left disappointed. They’re very crunchy without that biscotti kind of hardness that can break your teeth. Actually they crumble quite easily, while retaining a very firm consistency. The flavor is a perfect sweet almond. Maybe a little TOO sweet to eat too many! Highly recommended, fully lives up to my fond childhood memories of enjoying cookies with my family.

This was the first time I can recall trying these and they are very fresh and of good quality. The cookies are neatly wrapped in parchment type paper making a nice presentation. But sadly I didn't care much for the flavor even though I love almond flavoring these seemed a bit strong and left an aftertaste. I believe it's one of those things you have to have an acquired taste for growing up with. So I wont be knocking any stars off as they are good quality and at least I'll have a nice storage tin for the pantry.

These cookies are the greatest. The taste of the pistachio is out of this world matter fact the other one is too. I have these on re-order but I ordered a couple of cans to be delivered today they are worth every penny! The products always in great condition, but I wish my cans didn’t have dancing in it. Lol perfect

Taste just like I remember. Consistency is exactly however smaller than when I was younger. The tin is designed correctly however half the size from the original ones but then again all things have changed in the last 60 or so years. But it is great to have a taste of my Italian roots back for the Holidays. Will order again.

During my recent trip to Italy, I forgot to bring back a souvenir to share with my colleagues at the office. I was searching for something that truly screamed "Made in Italy" and luckily, I stumbled upon this amazing Amaretti. Let me tell you, these little delicacies did not disappoint! They were absolutely divine in taste, superbly packaged, and reasonably priced. The cookies were such a hit that my co-workers formed a line just to get more. I am incredibly grateful to Lazzaroni Amaretti for providing me with the perfect treat. Thank you so much!
