It’s small enough to fit in a small area.
Bought for my grandson and he loves it.

Great for measuring coffee
After trying quite a few other, cheaper scales, this one hits all the marks for what I need. Every other scale I tried had serious issues with reliability or longevity, but I'm happy to report that I've had this scale for about 1.5 years and it's still working fantastically. It's not perfect - IMO it's even a bit unintuitive to use for certain functionalities like timers or switching units. But I mostly use this just to measure out my coffee beans for espresso, and it's reliable, accurate, and easy enough to use for that. Besides that, it has a great battery life and often goes weeks, if not months, without needing a recharge.Overall I'm glad I got this scale and my only regret is not getting it sooner.

Don’t waste your time and money on this!!!
The scale I received has no business being sold to anyone. I wasted more than 2 hours dealing with miss-triggered buttons, an automatic timing function that didn’t start then after 3 seconds came on and stopped after another 2 seconds. I emailed the company and got an explanation that talked about how the buttons are proximity triggered. I tried over and over to turn on the auto timer but by simply getting close, but not touching, it triggered multiple times. So absolutely no user control! I asked them if this was normal to which they responded:“The touch panel component of the product is capacitive sensing, and the designed usage method is touch and induction triggering. This means it can be activated by proximity or touch due to its capacitive nature. We understand that it might seem overly sensitive, but this is by design.”I tried over and over again to simply use this to pull a shot of espresso but it failed every time. I even tried to just turn it on and with automatic timer on just pour water into a cup sitting on the scale to see if it would time and weight together all while nothing was near the scale to accidentally trigger any buttons. Not a chance!!! I ONLY wasted expensive coffee and my time!!!

Awesome gift
Purchased this scale for my son in Alaska. I ask him if he liked the scale. He said it is awesome and works very well. He now can make a perfect cup of expresso or pour over coffee without the guess work. He liked the quality and recharging function. He felt this was a great gift idea.

Not a bad Espresso Scale and Timer
I bought this because after buying an expensive Breville espresso maker I found that it was somewhat necessary to have both an accurate scale and timer to make a decent coffee (among other things).I decided to buy this scale/timer because of the reviews and what others were saying about other more expensive scales with similar functionality for the same purposes.Everything that I read about this device is true. It seems like a cheap product out of the box. It's buttons are super sensitive, and the instructions on how to use the auto timer feature are poorly described in two places both leave you scratching your head as to how to get it into the autotimer mode.HOW TO ENABLE/DISABLE THE AUTO TIMER:Press the timer button repeatedly, after 3-4 presses you'll hear a short beep with each press, keep pressing it a few more times until you hear a long beep. The device should then indicate that it's in auto timer mode. Repeat the steps to disable autotimer mode. Once the device is in autotimer mode, press the timer button once, the device will count down from 3 then it's ready for you to begin. Once the weight has changed the timer will start.CONS:-Buttons are very sensitive-Buttons are part of the scale surface (you press a button it registers the weight of your button push)-Not water resistant-height is a little tall for my espresso machine limiting the glasses I can use to brew with-Someone mentioned USB C to C cables don't work with this device, I haven't tried it but could be due to the power output being too high on a C to C cable. Cheap circuits this is made with might be the reason which for the price I would hope would be better but again we're paying for the functionality which apparently only comes in really high priced scales which this one is much cheaper than those.PROS:-Not too expensive for the functionality (going by what others have said and limited research)-Seems accurate, but I haven't done any calibration tests to very other than just my own personal judgement-Rechargeable, hate dealing with replacing batteries we live in the year 2020!-Does all of the things it claims to do.I just received this yesterday, and I've only brewed one cup with it and it already helped me to improve my brew. I might revise this later if I find something worth mentioning.

Best in the price range
The battery goes on for 5-6 months of daily use for me. It beats anything in its price range and if you are not looking for something fancy with app connectivity and things like that, this is the way!
