It took me 20+ years to buy the Tormek 8 and the jigs necessary to sharpen wood carving tools. There is a steep learning curve which gets easier with practice and review of the plethora of You Tube videos. The jigs is this set allow one to dial in the perfect angle to get the wood carving sharper than brand new.

Helps control the process to give super sharp results. Adaptable and precise. Really maximizes the Tomek system.

The Tormek kit is as advertised and works great. As expected. Sadly though, I placed the order and the company who shipped it sat on the order for 5 days before it left their store. I know, it's not Amazon prime, but beware they are slow to ship.

Don't be in a hurry. The guys in the videos have used these tools before.

This is a good selection of jigs that will cover most of what you need except for turning tools that are curved (there is a separate set for that). The problem is that looking into the box, without advance knowledge you wouldn't know what jig is for what tool or how to use them. You need to watch the youtube videos to get the basics, but there is more to know and the information on the internet is conflicted.

If you've got the T8 or T4, this is a must have.
