I will win the Ant War
I live in an old house.. there are ant trails EVERYWHERE and its making me crazy. They appear in different spots daily. This is a game changer. You don't need to spray a TON and its not that strong of a smell as long as you have ventilation and you're not in a closed room. The scent of orange dissipated in about 1 hour. Completely gone in 2.Ants stopped appearing on their trail so quickly, my pantry is safe. My guns are ready for the next wave.PLEASE READ THE DETAILS OF BOTTLE. Yes, there is no expiration because its stable and will not deteriorate. There is clear information about the product and you can also find more information about limonene from the EPA and various studies from universities and publications.

It actually works!!
This is the only thing that keeps the ants out of my house in Spring and Summer in Georgia. I use it inside and outside when I start to see ants, and it works instantly to deter them from coming into the house. I use it primarily where I keep my pets food, around windows, doors, and under cabinets. The fragrance is strong but it dissipates in a few hours. This is my second time ordering this product and I have recommended it to all my neighbors. It was such a happy surprise to find something that actually works on the stubborn ants!

It works
I had no problem until the apartment complex put down new mulch. I saw the first ants a week after they started and, a week later, ants were everywhere. Delivery was on time and in good order. Better still, Orange Guard works: the ants' numbers dramatically decreased after the first application. As others have noted, Orange Guard has a fairly intense -- though not obnoxious -- odor and it leaves the surfaces on which it is sprayed a bit sticky. In my experience, the odor largely disappears after a couple of hours and the sticky (and, I am certain, some of the protection) goes away with washing. Orange Guard is not a "one and done" solution. Multiple applications are necessary: I started using it 2 days ago and suspect I'll need to apply it at least 2~3 more time over the next week or 10 days before I return to pre-mulch conditions. Although Orange Guard is not perfect, I'm glad I bought it.

Good scent and sense!
I would keep the excess spray intact to prevent the bugs from returning. I hope to catch some while they are flying to stop further movement.

Dangerous, unsafe, irritant, can degrade breathing and lung capacity
In human experiments this decreased the vital capacity of lungs and 70% of this chemical is absorbed by the lungs into the blood. d-limonene has a long half-time in blood.Cite: d-limonene exposure to humans by inhalationdoi: 10.1080/15287399309531702.d-limonene oxidizes via ozone present naturally in the air into formaldehyde, 4-acetyl-1-methylcyclohexene, and formic acid!It also decomposes into hydroperoxidesWhich then decomposes into sulfenic acid.Even worse studies show that the combination of small household amounts of limonene and oxidizing cleaners create harmful quantities of formaldehyde. Cleaners like ammonia also cause harmful gases."Reactions with nitrogen oxides produce aerosol formation as well as lower molecular weight products, such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, formic acid, acetone, and peroxyacetyl nitrate (Altshuller, 1983)."Cite: Concise International Chemical Assessment Document 5, LIMONENE, World Health Organization 1998 ISBN 92 4 153005 7"Inhalation of limonene vapor increases serotonin and dopamine levels in key regions of the brain that are associated with anxiety, depression, and OCD."The MSDS is not a good read. "Highly volatile, flammable" "product may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways." "Inhalation may cause irritation of the nose, throat, and respiratory""Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed."The active ingredient d-Limonene is basically distilled orange terpene just like distilled pine resin is turpentine. My personal experience using this product on a window sill and a few cracks resulted in itchy eyes, burning throat, followed by the same type of anxiety that comes on you do when you've been breathing forrest fire smoke and can't escape in the summer. Except this time in the comfort of my own overpoweringly orange scented home. Then a mild headache and aching lungs for several days. The orange smell is overpowering and takes days before it goes away because "subjects could detect the odor at 8 and 15 ppb"You also can't dispose of this in the garbage or down the drain because it's harmful to aquatic life! This stuff is used as a aircraft wheel degreaser with full PPE gloves, closed eye splash guard protection , apron. I wouldn't want my worst enemy to use this on their own home.It also has a shelf life which is not listed anywhere. As cited above it degrades in regular air into far worse chemicals that are also irritants and can harm your breathing. Don't take my word for it, look up the citations. Always be extremely careful when you hear extraordinary claims about all natural ingredients.
