The glow that this product gives is subtle and it is a very low key tinted rosey glow. The balm is a nice addition for an extra dewy glow on your cheeks but I usually use it on my eye lids for a glossy and lightly reflective look without the stickiness of using actual gloss. Just FYI though, if you're planning to set your whole life with this powder, it's going to leave a pink tint. Use lightly to set around your laugh lines, then for your chin and high points of your cheeks and your forehead, go ahead and set those as you want because it is going leave your T-zone very vibrant without all the breakaways of hydrating foundation. Lastly if she's not your setting dream, then use her as blush. It's a glowy pink that gives you a a very cute look with an added bonus of setting your face so you don't have to worry about it moving your foundation. And it is sheer enough that you won't clown yourself on first contact so it's buildable. Not every product gives you what you want but this one for me personally have me what I want. It leaves my constantly matte needs with a nice dewy glow that doesn't tell everyone I'm sweating profusely. So please read carefully and investigate before you buy.

Love the powder. Not so much the balmy stuff that come with it. The powder has a fine texture with a slight Illuminating quality. Very nice. The "balm" that comes with it is worthless imho. Too thick to be used for lips, which it suggests. And I prefer to not put sticky stuff on my face for any reason. So, I ignore it. The powder: yes! The goop: no. It costs 1 star. 4 stars for this. Worth a try!

I’ve been using Physicians Formula for years because I have sensitive skin, allergies and asthma. I really wanted to love this product like I love my other PF products. Only problem is, this one has an added fragrance that is so strong I could smell it before taking it out of the packaging. Once I got it out of the box and opened the compact, it almost instantly caused an alergy induced asthma attack. That to me doesn’t fall under the definition of hypoallergenic. Disappointed, I returned it.

I have used this product for years and it is the best finishing product on the market as far as I’m concerned. I hope they never discontinue it.

I stopped wearing foundation during COVID-19 because I (and my mask) would end up looking messy. I also steer away from highlighters because they seem to spot-light pores and imperfections. This product is truly remarkable. It doesn’t cover skin, but provides the blur and “photoshop” look of health and radiance. There is no skill involved whatsoever. Just apply everywhere with a soft brush like a setting powder. Fast, easy and smells like green tea and roses. I took this picture in morning light, no retouching, no photoshop. I am (mid-forty something) wearing plain moisturizer with Sunlit Glow all over and Brightening Rose on my cheeks. I will keep my other highlighters to use only on my legs, and I am getting an extra “Rose all Day” for my travel bag!

I was excited to try this because I love the Physicians Formula bronzer so much, but this just isn't for oily skin types - I was very shiny after about 2 hours. The product page says this gives a nice glow to maturing skin but this was way more than glowy lol. I do think this would be great for maturing dry skin, and the added highlight balm is nice to have in the same compact.

Use this as my daily blush and highlighter; with cream it can be held to a specific zone; with a blush brush it can be used more generally- love shade on ultra fair blue undertones
