This mascara is amazing! My lashes were so long and full. My only complaint is that it is suppose to be regular mascara- not waterproof. So, when I go to wash it off it doesn’t come off easily. I have to really scrub, even with eye makeup remover. I specifically choose regular mascara over the waterproof kind because I like the ease of taking it off at the end of the day. This mascara is pretty much waterproof even though it doesn’t state it. Major plus if that’s what your looking for!

Love this mascara. Doesn't clump and reasonably priced

I keep falling for the Essence brand mascara. First bought 17mo ago and LOVED it! Went on well, coated my lashes and made them so much longer and fuller. I liked it so well I added it to my Suscribe & Save to get a new tube every 2mo. By the 5th tube it wasn't fully shrink wrapped for customer safety. When I pulled out the wand it was clumpy and dried out. Notified Amazon and they replaced it. New tube came and it had a long hair wrapped around the wand and bristles. Ewww, no thanks. I returned this tube and asked for a refund, no replacement. After waiting many months I tried again hoping their quality control had improved. The newest tube lasted a couple of weeks before it also became dried out. Still trying to give Essence the benefit of the doubt I ordered a different style/formula, the one in this review. It coated the white fiber lengthened, also sold by Essence for 4-5 applications and is now so dry and clumpy it won't even coat my lashes without the fiber primary.

Everyone has their favorite mascara. Mine have been Lancome's definicils for length and definition and IT cosmetics superhero mascara for thickening. These are both $20+ per bottle. What the fake was recommended and at this price was worth a try. It lengthens and defines more along the lines of definicils and thickens with several coats liek It cosmetics. It doesn't smudge and stays put but comes off easily with micellar water cleanser. The only down side is you can occasionally see the fibers at the tips of the lashes but they don't flake or fall off, so it's not a deal breaker. This is a budget friendly mascara that works just as well as the high dollar brands, and works best with the essence last primer.

After seeing the praises for this mascara in multiple articles, I finally decided to give it a try. I was very disappointed. Maybe I got the wrong one or I got an old tube. The wand seems dry. While it does make my lashes look longer, it's no more than any other mascara. It doesn't straighten my wonky lashes or make them appear thicker.2 STARS: I'm tempted to toss this. I also got the primer from this brand. With or without the primer, my lashes don't look as good as they do with my preferred brands. I'd recommend L'Oreal Double Extend, Thrive or FYNE mascara.
