Love this case!! I had the same one for my Galaxy S8 and it FULLY protected my phone for 2 years. Never got even a scratch on my screen. (Never used screen protecter either) The top layer on the back did start to peel slightly towards the end of its use, but after 2 years of rugid use, I have zero complaints. When I purchased the S20, i went with a DIFFERENT case at first through Verizon and hated it instantly. The case had no grip, which was problematic for my small hands holding such a giant phone. The case was not raised higher than the phone so i needed a screen protector with it. Which was scratched to hell just by spending one day in my purse! And it did not block the ports to keep water out. So needless to say I returned that garbage and went back to this phone case because it is wonderful!!! The rubbery texture helps me hold onto phone, and the fact that the case is raised past the screen really does protect it from falls!! I still do not use a screen protector and have had zero problems. And this case covers the port to keep water out. The outer shell also comes in handy. Its very sturdy and holds up my phone well, and stays hooked to my pants with no issue. Highly recomend. Its worth the money.

Since getting my phone I have been afraid of dropping it because it is so slippery. My case came yesterday and I put it on. The phone fits perfectly. Volume control works well, as does the power button. Everything that needs to be accessible is and the charging port cover opens easily enough if you need to charge your phone or plug in earphones. About an hour after I put it all together I dropped my phone (something I haven't done in years) and the phone landed on its corner....and no problem at all! It fell from about waste high because I didn't put the phone on the holster correctly and it popped out. I think that because it normally doesn't come out so easily. I have to get used to it, but it is comfortable and solid. I actually like the way it feels in my hand. I have big hands, but this is a big phone. I love that it protects the camera by making it recessed in the case without compromising the image, even when using the wide angle. I don't like the instructions. Having had a Defender case for an older phone, it was easy for me. Peel off the soft rubber piece then open the plastic case. You need split the two hard pieces first, after you remove the rubber shell. Then put the phone in, snap the hard plastic pieces together (go around it twice to make sure every snap engages) and put the rubber shell back on. The phone becomes pretty thick, and the wireless charger I have seems to have a problem with it. The only other negative is if you need to change your memory card you will have to remove the phone from the case. I wish they would have made an opening for this like the charging port (maybe they are listening and will consider it). This keeps it out of the 5 star range for me because having the ability to film at 8K, my 400 gig card will fill up quickly when I'm at my kids sporting events, etc., and I'm sure I'll have to change cards more often than I would like (until a 1 TB card drops in price). This is a solid 4.5 stars for me.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It has a belt clip that doubles as a stand, and can become a complete protective shell over the front of the phone as well as the back. Design: my favorite design ever. The clip is super handy to keep it nearby and securely attached to me while i work. Functionality: The best part. It is durable. The back casing stays on at all times, but the front casing can be detached and doubled up on the back, or kept over the front creating an entire shell around your phone when doing rigorous activities.

I've been using the OtterBox Case for my S20 Ultra for the past 2 1/2 years, and for the most part, it has done an excellent job protecting my phone from harsh drops. However, about two months ago, I had an unfortunate incident where the frame snapped while I was storing the case (Note: I didn't have it on my phone at the time, as it was on my bike phone mount). I must admit that OtterBox indeed manufactures durable cases that generally live up to their positive reviews. On the downside, I found the case to be quite bulky, which was a minor inconvenience in certain situations. Moreover, after a year of use, the back surface began peeling quite a bit. Additionally, my power and volume buttons showed significant wear and tear over the past two years of use. One improvement I'd love to see is a slimmer version of the OtterBox Case for the S20 Ultra that would allow me to use my e-bike's phone mount without having to remove the case each time I go bike riding. Overall, while the case provided reliable protection, the bulkiness and wear on certain parts are worth considering. If OtterBox introduces a more streamlined option for the S20 Ultra, I'd gladly purchase it for its sturdy and dependable performance

It's a bit bulky but it's solid. When I "drop" my phone it tends to fly out of my hand more often than anything else. Results are usually unpleasant. I had to get this one for my Ultra and so far so good. I also purchased a Clear OtterBox case and I am pretty happy with it as well.

After previously using a Spigen case based on their good reputation only to end up with broken phone costing £250 to replace front and back screens from only dropping my phone at waist level, I wanted to find a case that would actually protect my phone. Then I discovered Otterbox. The quality of their cases is exceptional. They are a perfect fit and this particular case (commuter) features raised profiles to front edge of the phone, as well as the back camera, so you have confidence that the phone is well protected, which is exactly what I was looking for. This case is in two parts: a hardshell with a thin protective padding inside which the back of the phone sits against, and then a thicker outer rubber surround which provides extra durability as well as a comfortable and secure non-slip grip. I have conplete faith in this case. I have alreadydropped my phone a couple of times and no damage at all! Yes this case is expensive, but you get what you pay for! It's significantly less than the cost of a broken phone! Since discovering Otterbox I will only ever be using their cases from now on. I can't recommend this case highly enough!

Jag arbetar i en relativt praktisk verksamhet där jag vill veta att min mobil skyddas. Därför har jag använt Otterbox Defender-skal till mina senaste tre mobiler, och kommer att fortsätta med det. De är dyra, men de är stabila och praktiska. Hållaren kan kännas lite vek, men jag har aldrig upplevt något problem med den förutom känslan. Det enda som drar ner helhetsbetyget är att Otterbox inte säljer reservdelar till skalet. Gummit runtom sträcker sig med tiden och kommer till slut att behöva bytas ut efter 1-2 år; trots det ser Otterbox det inte som en förbrukningsvara, och man måste i stället köpa ett helt nytt skal. Det innebär att både det inre plastskalet och hållaren blir extra plastsopor, när man skulle kunna undvika det slöseriet genom att bara köpa det yttre gummiskalet och byta ut. Men som sagt, det är en filosofisk skillnad; skalet förblir min preferens.
