Could not use this item because the power adapter is for European outlet (220v) . Since I live in the USA I need a 110v adapter. You would think that the vendor would have looked at my address.

This product was for the Europe market. I did not see this anywhere in the product description, I found out when I could not plug in to US outlets

why would you ship a European plug to a United States address? nothing in the purchase info said this would not work in the US.

Advertises Product as if it is a US version. Ships with UK plug, will not work in US.

Does exactly what you need it to, plug and play, 2 indicators to show which speed the port is operating at, quiet and doesn’t get hot.

I brought this after just finding out they exist due to just having 1000mb download/upload broadband installed, I was skeptical as was scared it would add more ping in gaming or just lose some speed, it's fair to say it definitely doesn't do that and is an excellent way of gaining more ethernet ports!!

Works as it should but the instructions are a bit vague. I believe for example it doesy matter which socket you use for the input feed from the router, but it doesn't actually say that, which is a bit disconcerting

Overall this is perfect for my needs has i needed more ethernet connections for consoles/pc`s, and was easy to setup, one issue is the support software for the prosafe plus utility, it has reached end of life, maybe not a big deal but would have been useful if they still kept it updated.I like the size has it`s not too big and fitted next to my router without taking up much room on the tv shelf. This is where the second issue comes in. The power has to be connected to the front of the box, which i feel it would have been so much better if it connected either on the side or preferably on the back where the ports are located.Overall would buy again has it meets my needs.

5 ports cover all my needs.the ports are all very fastthis is a managed switch and not a dumb one. the software for managing it is pretty basic. you most probably don't need the managed option and if you do need a managed option this probably isn't good enough
