For the price it is not bad but every time you load it check if a paintball loaded in the chamber

very disappointing. the balls just fall out 2-3 feet in front even if pumped hard & fast. my 6 yr old waited 3 weeks to save up his earned money & he shot 10 balls lnding less than 3 ft in 10 seconds. do NOT buy!!!

The gun does not blast the paint balls out hard enough for them to break. My 8 year old is sooooo disappointed. This is the worst christmas gift I ever bought him. I feel terrible and wish I had never gotten it. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!!

Only shoots about 5 feet. Save your money

Read the other one star reviews and thats my take. The balls don't come out as they should. The balls don't splatter. it takes adult force to even have a chance of the balls coming out and even then you have better odds flipping a coin.If you want the balls to splatter: 1)for a tiny splatter: throw the gun in your trash receptical and fast pitch the balls at a hard surface 2)for a small splatter: throw the gun in trash receptical, place the balls on a hard surface, and smash them with a hammer 3) for the best spatter, but still not what you expected: throw the gun in your trash receptical, watch the movie twister, and replicate using splatter balls

I bought one of these on clearance from a local store for $2.50. It simply doesn't work as intended. The balls either fall out the end, or don't shoot with any force. If you keep pumping repeatedly you might get one to fly out and splat against the target with four or five more rolling away on the floor. If you can get it at the dollar store, it might be worth a try. Otherwise avoid this product.

Each of our boys received one of these and they barely work. The paintballs practically fall out of the Splatblaster and don't come anywhere near breaking open. Too bad though, the design is simple and should be foolproof. Unfortunately, the power required to effectively pump and shoot the paintballs out is far beyond that of a child and probably most adults.Don't buy this toy.
