i've had it for a couple of weeks now, and i will say, it works well. calibration isn't in the instructions, but, if you hit and hold all 4 buttons when you turn it on, after it says hello, it will enter cal mode. pressing unit advances to the next screen, which is the auto shut off time. if you turn off the power, or use all 4 buttons to reset it, it does not seem to save, so you will have to purchase calibration weights in order to change it. after setting the auto shutoff, it then lists the 3000 g, which is the max weight. it seems you can change it, but i haven't tried. the next shows random numbers, seemingly the raw value of the scale sensor, then it goes through asking for a 500g calibration weight, and after that, a 2000g calibration weight. the 1000g weight doesn't seem to be necessary. after calibration, the scale seems to do pretty well with the calibration weights. weighing in the center and in the corners seem to be repeatable, although it may be a little off at the very edges or corners. the mat that goes on top of the scale has a hangover on the left side, which helps keep it in place, but it can slide up and down. using the scale to measure liquid, it seems to refresh quick enough to easily allow you to gauge when to stop, although, it may depend on how quickly you pour. one thing to note, the precision mentioned in the description. this scale is accurate to 0.1g from 0-500g, 0.5g from 501-1000g, and 1g from 1001-3000g. this isn't over the weight range of the scale exactly, but rather over the displayed weight. meaning, if you decided to weigh pour over or something, in something heavy (or a collection of things), if you tare out the weight (zero it out to measure the difference), it will still display the first 500g up to 0.1g accuracy. that makes the 3000g limit of the scale much more useful. lastly, this is a rebranded scale...many make the same scale under a different brand. i can't remember which combination of buttons it was, but if you held 2 buttons at the same time, it would bring up a muted speaker (no sound) icon, even though this scale doesn't have sound to begin with. i'm very happy with this scale. the price was good, and realizing that the 0.1g accuracy works up to 500g after taring is great. i used it to measure the water and ice in my 64 oz yeti, to figure out how much water i was actually drinking (got very close to the limit of 3000g).

I’ve used this identical scale for four years, though with a different brand name on it, still identical, made in China with a friendly “Hello” on the splash screen when you turn it on. After approximately 1,000 uses in four years, it suddenly died one day, lost its mind and became obviously useless. When that happened there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to replace it with exactly the same scale because I liked the old one so much. The controls are logically laid out, the display is bright, it automatically turns itself off after a few minutes if you forget about it. I’ve tested it with standard weights and it’s precisely accurate. It’s correctly sized for its task (a coffee scale), it’s slim, light, has a removable, washable rubber mat that covers the weighing platform, and is altogether a winner in design and utility, and there’s no reason to change anything about it. When this one fails, I’ll be happy enough to buy another. It costs twenty bucks . . .

I was a little worried when I got this scale as it looks more delicate than my previous kitchen scale (that died after 6+ years). But it’s held up quite well so far despite the not-so-careful use it’s been through. It’s lived through many milk spills, various powders being spilled on it, and being used as a platform for objects beyond its capacity. It even survived the Powdered Sugar Sifting Static Electricity Event of Fondantpalooza 2022 - it did turn off suddenly, and wouldn’t turn back on via touchscreen, but after I reset it later by taking the batteries out/putting them back in, it was back to normal! I imagine it has some sort of protective mechanism that shut it down, though I really wouldn’t try it on purpose & I'll be more cautious next time I sift ingredients on the scale. I find it responsive enough for making pourover coffee, and I’ve used the stopwatch feature a few times (though usually I want to count down). Love the 10ths of a gram. I wish the silicone mat stayed in place better, but it is easy to toss it in the dishwasher or rinse it under the faucet when it gets dirty. The touchscreen wipes easily and the design does keep most messes from getting near the important parts which occasionally need more detailed attention to clean. The bottom has sat in a spill for awhile without the battery compartment being compromised (again, not a thing I’d do on purpose, but I’ve got a 10yr old). It’s small enough to stash out of the way when needed but big enough to be easily readable with a medium mixing bowl on top. Tare function works well. It’s easy to change units. Kinda wish there was a lbs option in addition to oz but really boo to imperial measurements anyway/let’s go metric. ML is sorta silly since it’s the same as grams & assumes you’re measuring water. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this scale. It looks nice and functions well plus it’s tough enough for everyday use.

Honestly, if you're looking or an inexpensive, accurate scale for your morning coffee or to weigh food, this is great. Is it the most sturdy build out there? No, but those scales are 4-5x more expensive and this is tough enough to live in most non-professional environment. The buttons have great sensitivity and the display is large enough and bright enough to work in pretty much any kitchen. There are no "beeps", which is ideal since I'm the first one up in the morning. The timer has easy start and stop. There is no timer reset short of turning the whole thing off and on again, but what do you expect for $20? If you do want to restart, it's about a 5-10 second process. This scale is accurate, but is not exactly precise. It *does* drift. In static weighing, it will drift around the initial scale about 0.2g. For pretty much everything outside of molecular gastronomy, that's fine. In dynamic measuring, such as when you're pouring hot water over grounds during a pour-over, the scale goes all over the place. The worst I've seen is 2g off in a 500g pour, so honestly not bad, but it's just annoying. Again, I do really like the scale and I thing it's a great value. Is it perfect? No. But at the price, it's plenty good enough.

Love it. It's accuracy might be a little fuzzy about measuring the last tenth of a gram, probably due to rounding. But it showed a difference when a single coffee bean was added. Easy to read. The removable pad makes it easier to clean. It fits right on my little coffee station. To be honest, I didn't read the instructions. It's fairly intuitive if you know how they are supposed to work. I like it.

Sorry but, no. Stopped working after less than 1 week of use. They pre-install cheap batteries. I used it for a few days but then It wouldn’t turn on so I switched them out with fresh ones. Now the start/stop button isn’t working. Discovered during an extraction…arg!! Don’t mess with me while performing my craft! lol. Build quality is poor. Don’t over handle it, yeah, that’s how fragile it appears to be. I like that it is light weight but so light, I question if the durability and weight factor are compromising the output accuracy. Doesn’t feel reliable at all. I also question if this is waterproof, again, having everything to do with build quality. This is not my first scale but it is for coffee use so I’m on the hunt for a better one. This was cheap in price, yes. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. One good thing that came out of this is, while it was working, I realized how much this was really needed for me to make exceptional and accurate espresso shots, so time to find a better one. I wanted this to work, I really did.

I won't talk about accuracy cause i have no tools to test that. But it's a nifty little scale i use for coffee. Wether it is for pour overs, or simply to weight coffee before grinding... it's really nice and seems super consistent. There is one thing i would improve on... to me, this seems like a perfect product for left handed people. The way the display shows the information currently should be reversed. let me explain. The timer fonction is on the left side of the display... the weight is on the right side of the display. Having a coffee beans bag in your right hand pouring the coffee on the scale, i'm hiding with the bag the weight display... this is annoying ! I find myself having to hunch over the scale to see the weight constantly !! Finally, the design is really nice. It's an item i'm really ok leaving on my kitchen counters. For the build quality, of course, it's mostly plastic... but for the price, can't complain.

Looking for a replacement of my old scale and this fits the bill well.

This scales is really good its very acurate and looks nice and sleek the touch buttons are very nice and responsive and its perfect for espresso i have used this a few times now for making espresso and its really nice to use the built in timer is very handy to have for brew ratios as you can see from the photos i used a 1:2 ratio i put 19 grams of coffee in and got 38 grams out in 27 seconds so it works great for making espresso and id highly reccomend this scales its really good
