This book is a perfect quick reference guide.It is small enough to be in a pocket for browsing niggles that evaded one’s busy or absent mind before anesthetic induction.This is perfect for medical students and Anesth residents especially during rounds and preopdiscussions . It makes a good cheat sheet once a consultant starts peppering you with questions.Of course, one should have done their homework before getting in the harm’s way.

I’m a fourth year med student going into anesthesia and this book has everything. Meds, physiology, ultrasound, pre/post-op care, etc. will definitely be helpful on anesthesia and ICU rotations, as well as in anesthesia residency.Only knock is some of the pages are a little stuck together from printing (see image) but most of them separate no problem.

This pocketbook is fantastic. Small enough to fit in your back pocket of your scrub pants, and large enough to tell you how to manage your infusions and what you need to know in a pinch (i.e. "hey you have an emergent craniotomy, go set up the room"). There is a table of contents and index so you can find information quickly. Great for interns, but also super helpful for CA-2s. The information here is mostly practical, so not sure how much it will help for board exams per se, but is very helpful for day-to-day problems and quick reading.

The font is very small, It makes my eyes tired. But that what makes it handy and fits into your pocket for quick read.

This book has been very beneficial as I started my anesthesia journey. I’d be lost without it.

As an ICU rn preparing for transition to SRNA , I found this book of great use . Easy to understand concise information in an organized manner . Small enough to carry around . Old reviews said something about pages sticking together but I did not experience this . It was also shipped to me overnight

I think the size is perfect and it covers so much material. I’m very happy with it and I’ll be using it a lot.
