Really works, NO replacing filters, just whipe the permanent electrostatic plates. Ionizer too.
I've had this air purifier for over 2 years (with 3x indoor cats, 2x large litter boxes.) It works so well my neighbor noticed no "tell, tell" cat owners smell when she'd visit, but would at her place. So she bought one too. I highly recommend this.When I wake up in the morning the whole apartment (650 sq ft.) Smells fresh and I can tell the purifier and ionizer are working. I keep my bathroom door closed at night, so when I open it the next morning it is very noticable. Same if I leave and come back. It does change over all the air within a given timeframe. I'm buying another, now that I have a much larger house. One for each floor.
