Review: Love this book - This book is great for a 2nd grader who is being introduced to the concept of paragraph writing. While I allow my son to do many of his assignments alone, I work through this book with him to help coach him through the concept of building topic sentences and well thought out sequences. One of the things I like is that this book abstractly helps them take a topic sentence and build supportive facts while also conversely reading a list of facts that they must then build a topic sentence for. It also helps them identify sequence writing and also the concept of editing out facts that don't "fit" well with the group.
