1087306 Fun-Tak Mounting Putty, 2 oz, Blue

I must admit that I purchased three different adhesive putties because I have a scratching post for my cats that has a removable corrugated cardboard scratching board that must be replaced every so often, and must be adhered to two wooden strips inside the post. I was using all the adhesives I had on hand to replace one of the cardboards and nothing was working. I first tried Loctite, and at first it didn't stick. It's not the most malleable of the adhesives I bought, but when I figured out that I should put some on the cardboard and the rest on the wooden supports, it worked beautifully. My cats can now scratch to their heart's content and the cardboard isn't coming out. I've had this "toy" for the cats for a long time, but the adhesive was just wearing thin, and this was the first time that I had to replace the adhesive. Loctite is doing a fantastic job, and if it can stand up to my cats' scratching on this cardboard, it will certainly hold up papers and cardstock easily. I don't know how well it will work on shiny surfaces yet, but my guess is that it will do fine. I also appreciate the container in which Loctite comes. While it's not resealable so that air doesn't get into it, the cardboard container can be closed so that the adhesive won't fall out and get lost. That's a plus with cats around because it could pick up cat hairs--yuck! I am not at all disappointed in this product and would recommend it highly for any tough adhesive jobs.

I've been using Loctite Fun-Tak for pinning posters to my wall for about a month now. They give you two ounces of tack which is a considerable amount of the substance. since I've put my posters up (on drywall) they haven't fallen once. The tack comes between two plastic covers within a cardboard box. It is super easy to use by just pinching a nickel (or dime depending on your use) size amount and tearing it from one of the four blocks from out of the pack and pressing it onto the desired object. (in my case a poster) Then simply press from the opposite side onto your desired location, in my case my wall. This sticky tack is easily re-usable by just kneading it back into itself and choosing your desired size, which makes it great for things you need to take up and down frequently. The amount of tack Lactite provides is more than enough for any home or dorm project. I ended up giving a lot to my coworkers and still had more than enough for myself. Five stars for the practicality, quality, shipping time and the quantity of the product.

I bought this for my diamond art and it worked not sure but I think I like the wax that comes with it better
