Nice piece of history
I enjoyed opening it up and reading about the contents. I never knew that the penny from 1944 to 1945 was made from recovered copper from battlefields and Naval ships. Does anyone know when the Japanese dollar was printed? I can only assume it was in 1941, but there is no way of telling because the money only has a serial number and (in my case) a 2 number in brackets {15}. And would anyone know why the Japanese used the word Peso to identify their money instead of Yen? Isn't the Peso used by Spanish countries?
