I used it to prevent theft of my water at my shop. I never thought much about it before but when I was closed, because of the quarantine, someone helped themselves to my outside spigot and ran my water bill way up, I mean almost double which also made my sewer bill a lot higher as well. Installed this baby and works like a charm. Very easy ,durable and high quality. I highly recommend. Wish I had gotten it 2 months earlier.

Realize that my neighbors was taking my water holes off and using my waterspout to water their plants next-door so I taught them a lesson!!! it took two tries to figure out how to put it on but once I did it was extremely easy I was just put it on at wrong way… But figured it out the second time very… happy with the purchase… Excellent price

It seemed like alot for what it is, and I got this prices lower than all the competitors on amazon. The item came fast, undamaged. It was just in a Chinese box and was a Chinese lock. Cheaper than expected but still works perfectly, would have made one myself if I had the time it's like 2 parts and a sime lock.Kept the kids out of the hose today while I was stuck at home alone with them and the baby in my arms...

This lock was perfect for protecting my outdoor spigot. Sometimes neighbors steal my water in the middle of the night. Which makes for a high water bill. I bought a lock that you twist one and it spins freely and it unlocks with a magnetic key. But it would get stuck and I couldn't get it off. So this lock is PERFECT!

This product is a good idea but very poorly designed: it is way too small for any standard faucet outdoors. Photo 1 shows the faucet I have, very normal and standard size, photo 2 shows the protector's slot(s) that is for inserting the metal locking bracket, it was "perfectly" sitting in the middle of the faucet and there is no way I can insert anything! Don't waste your money!!

Did the job after someone in the neighborhood turned our hose on when we weren't at home. Better solution then having to turn it on and off from the basement all the time.

It works. It isn’t pretty and is definitely noticeable. I bought 3 of them to keep my son from turning on the hose in the front and backyard while he was playing. I have stopped using them as they were cumbersome to take off (keeping the pieces together was an issue) and to put back on. All my outdoor faucets are the same but the locks didn’t fit on them the same, on 2 of them it was a struggle just to get the pieces to fit together in order to put on the lock. They didn’t sit neatly over the faucet handle but a bit tilted in order to lock them.For something designed to use outside and on a water hose you’d think they would be rust proof but no, the locks started rusting after the first rain we had. And the locks are tiny and cheap, if someone wanted to get them off they could easily pick the lock with hairpin or twist it hard with a wrench. I was just trying to keep a 4 year old from turning in the water and leaving it on not deter a water thief. Don’t waste your money on it, the parts shouldn’t rust since it’s for outdoor use.

This is just what I needed and easy to install. I provided my own locks and did not use the locks that came with it. I got two of these.
